CMLL aired this as a surprise (and while the show was going on.) They’ve aired the Sunday Dia de Muertos show before so I guess we should’ve been looking forward to it, but this wasn’t a card which seemed worth time.
LA Park did not win the MLW Championship, in a finish that included a referee getting a fireball when Park had the pin.
Rush & Dragon Lee won both their matches on this weekend’s ROH shows, including the brothers winning as a team over Tracy Williams and Mark Haskins on Sunday.
KAOZ announced their 11/10 Arena Coliseo Monterrey show is being shifted to February. They’re getting out of the way of the TripleMania Regia show.
Rush & La Bestia del Ring were teased on a poster for the EMW 12/06 show, a poster that has since been taken down. I think the issue is AAA doesn’t want promoters they’re working with to even tease Rush appearing yet until they get to make an announcement. It is surprising still since Rush is said to be close to The Crash promotion and would be working opposite of them.
Corsario de Fuego, who wrestled a pair of Arena Puebla shows earlier this year, was shot at his Xalapa Arena (Clasico) today. Corsario de Fuego is hospitalized with no word on his condition. Furia de Titanes version of the story has armed gunmen arriving as the show was going on in, which seems to be backed up by this news report.
Nuevo Leon luchador Eterus passed away Saturday. He and a friend were shot outside of a house.
