Argenis once again betrayed his teammates. Tonga replaced Verdugo.

Money thrown in.
7) Trauma I & Trauma II b Psycho Clown & Rey Escorpión
Rey Escorpion and Psycho Clown didn’t get along. Challenges followed.

Traumas won the main event of both the ELITE tapings this weekend and Argenis betrays his partners in every match. It doesn’t seem like these are meant to building to anything. We don’t know when (if?) there will be a next show.

Fresero Jr. replaced The Tiger.
7) Dragón Bane & Hijo de Canis Lupus b Demonio Infernal & Lunatik Xtreme
Bloody match. Dragon Bane was KOed (apparently by Demonio Infernal) and down for a while at the end of the match, later said he couldn’t remember the end of the match. Lupus asked Demonio for a title match.

Traumas beat Capos.

There’s nothing really going anywhere, but there’s not a destination soon anyway. Next week is an MDA show. They’re probably running 10/27, but the big show that week is the Castillo de Terror show with masks on the line. AYM has stopped streaming these shows last few weeks.

Other results

Niebla Roja and Gran Guerrero, former Aniversario main event opponents, meet again tonight in Arena Puebla. They’ve not faced off on a streamed show in a singles match in a while, though we’ve seen a lot of them in tag matches lately. Niebla Roja & Gran Guerrero showed improvement during their rematches, and maybe we’ll continue to see it. They’re also less likely to get singles main events than most people in that spot in Puebla, so perhaps they’ll be motivated to have a bigger match than usual for a Monday night.

The top half of the card all feels like it could be good if there’s effort. Caristico, Soberano and Valiente are a solid team to take on NGD. Stuka Jr. vs Templario is a first time lightning match. It drops off a bit with Stigma & Esfinge teaming up with Fuego against Okumura, Sagrado, and Misterioso. Toro Bill Jr., Rey Apocalipsis and Black Tiger face Robin, Arakils and Rey Samuray in the second match. Rencor reappears to team with Espiritu Maglino & Sombra Diabolika against Millenium, King Jaguar and Hijo de Centella Roja in the opener. The show streams on CMLL’s YouTube at 9 pm. We are inching up on the week of Daylight Savings Time, but you’re safe for a couple of Mondays.

El Planchitas says AAA will have Vampiro checked by doctors this week to see if he can be cleared to wrestle. Vampiro is already scheduled for matches, so one suspects his medical testing will be similar in seriousness to Metalico’s referee tests. Perhaps the better comparison here is Dr. Wagner Jr.’s retirement vow, where the wrestler ran his own angle (“I’m going to die if I wrestle again”) and now AAA has to come up with a storyline to get out of it (“I’ve healed in the last two months and now it is good for me to wrestle.”) Vampiro in AAA is probably going to have some ludicrous matches and will not be putting anyone over, but AAA is about getting crowd reactions and he will definitely get crowd reactions.

Lineups

CMLL (SAT) 10/19/2019 Arena Coliseo

2) La Guerrera, La Maligna, Sanely vs La Comandante, La Seductora, Tiffany
3) Átomo, El Gallito, Microman vs Chamuel, Mije, Perico Zakarías
4) Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Luciferno [lightning]

6) Atlantis, Atlantis Jr., Carístico vs Mr. Niebla, Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero

Caristico/Mr. Niebla seems to be coming on 10/26. I forget Principe Odin exists some times. He seems relegated to the weekend; he hasn’t appeared on a stream since June.
