The main event seems like a situation where no one was going to lose clean so they had to do a strange finish. I think Caristico was allowed to do this show because he got this booking on his own, but there’s also the chance Caristico has different permissions than Soberano and Angel de Oro.

Tonight’s Arena Puebla show has an intriguing Ultimo Guerrero versus Mistico match. The match has usually been good and will probably be good. I’m not sure if anyone is concerned about that. It’s more the sole remaining Munoz family member facing a guy who appears to have some power in the promotion. Mistico actually beat Ultimo Guerrero in their last meeting, just six weeks ago in Arena Coliseo. That was the first time Mistico had defeated Ultimo Guerrero in Mexico; he’s lost his previous four chances. (Mistico had picked up a win on FantasticaMania, where he’s generally more successful than in Mexico.) This feud started before Dragon Lee & Rush left and an outcome could’ve been decided at that point, but the decision is going to be read as a statement on Mistico’s current situation. He did win his Gran Alternativa block, so maybe he’ll keep winning here.

The opener has the CMLL debuts of Rey Comodin (teaming with King Jaguar), Prayer & Rencor. Not sure what to expect from that. The rest of the card is more normal: Diamante Azul, Angel de Oro, Niebla Roja vs Negro Casas, Euforia, Gran Guerrero in the semi-main. Stuka, Titan, Stigma vs Templario, Felino, Tiger could be good. Los Cancerberos team with Perverso against Arkalis, Super Astro Jr. and Oro Jr. Principe Diamante & Rey Samuray face Centella Roja & Fuerza Chicana.

The show airs at 9 pm on CMLL’s YouTube channel.

Mascara 2000 & Satanico cheated to beat Solar & Super Astro in Guadalajara.

Galeno del Mal & Octagon defeated LA Parka Jr. & Sharlie Rockstar, with challenges from the Wagner & Park sons after.

Mascara Sagrada Jr. defeated Hijo del Fishman in a bloody match in Arena Lopez Mateos.

Lucha Memes 10/20 La Guanalos (Arena Jalisco) lineup

AAA/EMW 10/25 lineup

Some of these came out over the weekend, with EMW trying to get the jump on The Crash’s Anniversary show the week after by announcing matches. Scarlett appears to have signed with WWE already and maybe on TV soon, so she’s unlikely to appear. Laredo Kid is on the giant poster, so I suspect he’ll still be announced for a match even though they’ll know he won’t be there when it’s announced. Once an AAA lineup is handed off to the local promoter (which may be aways before it’s announced), there’s no chance AAA will update it.

The B-Boy appearance is like the AAA date he mentioned. Which is less exciting than B-Boy making TV but still good for B-Boy.

The Crash 11/01 “Anniversary” lineup

“New” as it is a new match for this particular show though not something new in any other fashion.

RIOT 11/02 “420” lineup

That’s a fun match. And if AEW means CIMA is going to take some random Mexico bookings to get a second match out of a cross-pacific flight, then AEW is great news.

Nitro returns to France’s APC on Sunday. It’s his first trip there in a couple OF years, he’s been the tag team champion all this time.

MLW announced they signed Gino Medina, who turns out to be the son of former AAA luchador El Sanguinario.

Rayo Chapin was remembered in Guatemala.

Periodico La Voz interviews Ultimo Cholo.
