Switched to a three way trios main event (so Wagner could team with his sons.) Wagner dedicated the win to Silver King.

Strong turnout for this show, which had the top two matches changed around for predictable reasons.

Soberano and Negro Casas have met twice this year in Arena Mexico. They meet again tonight in Arena Puebla, with Casas getting another shot at Soberano’s Mexican Welterweight Championship. Casas singles matches are good, as long as you go in expecting them to be around only ten minutes long. He still gets more out of young high flyer than most rudos. The previous Casas/Soberano matches have been fun and this should be the same.

The main event is an incredible pairs trios with Caristico, Gran Guerrero and Ultimo Guerrero against Euforia, Valiente, and Volador. Assuming this is going anywhere, it could set up yet another Caristico/Volador match, or Volador & Valiente challenging the Guerreros for the tag team titles. There’s a second incredible teams match on the card, where Perverso, Stigma, and Virus face Electrico, Toro Bill Jr. and the returning Kairos. I have less of an idea of why that’s happening.

The fourth match has the Chavez Brothers with Stuka as the third wheel against the Hijos del Infierno. Marcela & Skadi team up again, this time versus Dalys & La Metalica. That seems like it might also be headed to a title match. Arkalis & Tigre Rojo take on Malayo & Policeman in the opener. The show streams at 9 pm.

Lucha Memes & Generacion XXI have a show w/Caristico in Leon on 09/02.

LA Park vs La Parka is being advertised for Tampico on 09/20. That’ll probably be a tag match by the time it happens. Bandido is listed as participating, which seems impossible unless he plans on missing a day of Battle of Los Angeles.

Reporte Indigo has an interview with Angel Garza.

Lineups

CMLL (FRI) 07/26/2019 Arena México
1) Magia Blanca & Magnus vs Akuma & Espanto Jr.
2) Drone, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Kawato San, Misterioso Jr., Tiger
3) Audaz, Soberano Jr., Titán vs Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto
4) Valiente vs Cavernario [lightning]

6) Carístico, Místico, Volador Jr. vs Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón

This wasn’t worth the weight. The main event should be fine.

There are common bits of everyone in the first match being rudos (or Rush) and being unmasked wrestlers. That doesn’t seem like good foreshadowing.

CMLL (SAT) 07/27/2019 Arena Coliseo
1) Fantasy & Kaligua vs Pequeño Nitro & Pequeño Universo 2000
2) La Guerrera, La Vaquerita, Skadi vs La Seductora, Metálica, Reyna Isis
3) Pegasso, Star Jr., Stigma vs Okumura, Olímpico, Sagrado

5) Atlantis, Atlantis Jr., Stuka Jr. vs Hechicero, Rey Bucanero, Vangellys
6) Ángel de Oro, Kráneo, Niebla Roja vs Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Templario

Cometa versus Tiger seems good.

Wednesday trainee show since the Sunday show is a NOBA/DTU/Lucha Libre Boom show. I assume that’s actually a tournament.
