Let’s be clear: I have those matches listed as Time Limit Draws because I think that’s what occurred, but not one person reporting on the show mentioned them or seemed to really understand them. They may not have gone 1 minute. Like many a complicated concept on a lucha libre show, it was something that appealed to the promoter and wasn’t really understood by the promoter. Having a three-way match equally was something that must’ve made much more sense to the people in charge. This seems consistent with the rest of the Lucha Libre Real shows. Turnout seemed strong and this was taped for +LuchaTV.

Seiya & Capo del Sur replaced Condor & Terry 2000 on 07/10.

Titan & Valiente (moved down) replaced Aeroboy & Emperador Azteca on 07/10. Stuka ended up in Valiente’s spot. Tecnicos won by DQ, rudos asked for the match to be restarted, the match ended the same way.
6) Jushin Liger & Místico b Carístico & Último Guerrero
Bandido (ROH) and Titan & Valiente (moved down) taken out of the match when the date switch to Sunday. Ultimo Guerrero added. Liger wins all three matches on his retirement tour.

Arkangel Divino was hurt in the semimain and did not actually participate in the final. Iron Kid offered a singles match instead. Ultimo Maldito won.
Hard to tell how well this did because the photos show the side of the ring where there’s only one row of seats. (It wasn’t a full road!) Having a tag title final end in a singles match is unfortunate. I’m more surprised Lucha Solos (Divino/Maldito) won, since they might soon be unavailable if they’re returning to AAA and Alas/Iron Kid has been longer with Memes. I didn’t really think about this tournament because it came off like a thing to get thru a show rather than something important, so I’m already spending too many words on it, but I would’ve picked Prayer & Multy as winners since they seem the guys Memes are trying to put their stamp on of the moment.
Lucha Memes was teasing a return to Coliseo Coacaclo on Sunday.
On Sunday’s Ring of Honor show, Kenny King was announced as coming to CMLL for an extended period. King, who also defeated Dragon Lee on the show, did a promo where he said it would be happening next month. King previously appeared in CMLL in 2017 as part of the weekend around the Gran Prix. ROH is transitioning timekeeper Amy Rose to be Kenny King’s manager and her ability to speak Spanish seemed an odd point of emphasis, so I guess there’s a long shot she may be coming with King.
The Ring of Honor announcers also made it clear that they would very much like to travel to Mexico to offer an English language version of the Aniversario show (and then later acknowledge this is something they’d love to do but not something that is currently being offered to them.)
LA Park related on Twitter (pointed out by Zona Ruda) a conversation he had with his son, saying he realized Friday was both a farewell show for two. It was for Liger and for them for breaking the roles and throwing the chairs. That reads like a joke, and it didn’t appear LA Park was coming back for this Friday anyway.
There is no lineup for CMLL’s Friday Arena Mexico show yet. The story that was passed to me is this was not an accident and we should expect to see Friday lineups revealed on Mondays going forward.
Flamita did not win the Dragon Gate Open The Brave Gate Championship earlier Sunday. He, Jimmy and Draztick Boy should be finished up in Dragon Gate for now and should start appearing in Mexico again soon. Jimmy got strong reviews for a kid going over to DG for the first time. Success in Dragon Gate hasn’t led to much success in getting booked in Mexico, but perhaps someone in Mexico outside DTU will give him a shot.
Cain Velasquez posted a photo of him at the Pro Wrestling Revolucion training center. It is good to see he’s doing the work to get ready for his match. It did occur to me this weekend that Killer Kross probably isn’t in the mystery man in the TripleMania match if AAA didn’t deem it important to have him on the Aguascalientes card. (Perhaps he’s even finished up with AAA, though this conversation seems to disagree with that.) I have no great idea who it would be and it’s beginning to look like we might not know until the day of the show.
Nacion Lucha Libre announced their third taping will be on 08/04 in Monterrey. Their first TV show air Saturday night, airing four matches (including Rey Horus vs Bandido) from their first TV taping. They didn’t stream the show or put it up anywhere, though there is a stream on a Facebook page which has since been removed.
Tinieblas Jr. says a FULL show Saturday night in Manzanillo, Colima drew 5,000 fans. Tinieblas Jr. is one of the better luchadors (/promoters) about pushing his cards on social media often. He never put up a card for Manzanillo. I’m thinking they did draw 5,000 but it may have been a solid show or something.
Mr. Niebla beat Lizmark Jr. for his hair in the finals of a relevos suicidas in Ciudad Juarez on Saturday. that looked like it was originally Felino’s spot to lose, and he was taken off it when he ended up in on the Lucha Libre Real show. (Perhaps getting to face Liger was part of his deal for switching shows.) The show drew badly in a big building, as you might be able to tell in those pictures.

Former Arena Coliseo Monterrey luchador Lenador is reported as having passed away.
