Dragon Lee and Rey Horus have met before – it was the phoenix-plex injury that no one remembers. Hopefully, this goes a little smoother.
This is Gresham’s first match in Mexico since 2015, when he won the DTU Alto Impacto championship and then never returned. It is a The Crash title, so that situation is in play. Bandido won this title back in May in a vacant title match when it didn’t appear Fenix would be back to defend it. Bandido himself hasn’t been back much. Shane Strickland has been in The Crash on and off; this is likely his last match in Mexico before heading to WWE sometime after WrestleMania.
Zeda Zhang is a former NXT wrestler who’s stuck around Florida since leaving that group in March. Baby Xtreme really must love that name, this is another chance for him to use anything else in a place that doesn’t know him and he still is using it.
