This was an easily watchable show, Vikingo match and the main event getting the most attention. It felt low on AAA storylines following up on last week’s heavy show, but AAA isn’t the promotion to be watching for stories anyway. Building looked direly empty in photos of the dark match, then filled up a lot by the time the show got really going.

AAA is off next weekend. They’re back for two shows the following weekend, a Friday/Sunday Mazatlan/Tepic swing. Blue Demon is actually headlining an indie show at the small arena in Mazatlan on 02/01, and semi-main in the bigger arena 7 days later for AAA. That’d be weird anywhere, and Mazatlan normally doesn’t get a lot of shows.

CMLL (SAT) 01/26/2019 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Arkalis & Príncipe Diamante b Apocalipsis & Yago
2) Espanto Jr., Metálico, Sangre Azteca b Bengala, Leono, Sangre Imperial
rudos took 2/3
3) Magnus, Pegasso, Stigma b Cancerbero, Disturbio, Raziel
tecnicos took 1/3
4) Rey Cometa b Príncipe Odín Jr. [lightning]
Principe Odin Jr. replaced Dragon Rojo.
5) Cavernario, Euforia, Mephisto b Audaz, Tritón, Tritón
Rudos took 1/3
6) Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Volador Jr. b Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón
tecnicos took 2/3

Rey Cometa does the lightning match winner promo. Dragon Rojo to Principe Odin is a big drop off in name though maybe not as much in match quality.

CMLL (SUN) 01/27/2019 Arena México [CMLL]
1) Mercurio & Pierrothito b Kaligua & Último Dragóncito
Rudos took 1/3. Dragoncito challenged Pierrothito after the match
2) Amapola, La Comandante, La Seductora b Kaho Kobayashi, La Guerrera, Maligna
Kobayashi return match. Rudas took 2/3.
3) Blue Panther, Esfinge, Tritón DQ Kawato San, Tiger, Virus
straight falls, Virus pulling off Triton’s mask for the DQ.
4) Titán b Mephisto [lightning]
5) Atlantis, Soberano Jr., Valiente b Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón
tecnicos took 1/3.
6) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero b Ángel de Oro, Carístico, Niebla Roja
rudos took 1/3

CMLL promos: Kaho Kobayashi & Titan. Kaho’s Spanish is now better than mine. Titan is very fired up over his win, believing his recent ones are leading somewhat. That’d be nice, but I’m not sure if it’ll go any better than Dragoncito’s challenge.

Marcela successfully defended her CMLL’s Women Title early Sunday in Japan.

Indie roundup tomorrow (maybe?) but +Lucha posting a video of LA Park Jr.’s introduction seems worth posting now.

LuchaWorld has the latest news update.
