Matches 3/5 are worth the Twitch subscription this month. 4 was good too. I’ve never felt more lied to than AAA promising a Mini Gronda and not delivering a Mini Gronda. There are some matches being built up and I believe AAA is running the usual January show in Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera, but it is never a sure thing any of those matches will happen as they’re being teased.

The Laredo/Myzetziz/Vikingo team is going with “Los Jinetes del Aire”.

Next Twitch show is Christmas; this was said to be the penultimate Twitch show of the year so I don’t think they’re sneaking in another taping. There’s the final two Lucha Capital shows in between.

7) Rey Horuz b ArezAramisToxin Rey Horus vs Arez vs Aramis vs Toxin en la Arena San Juan con Mexa Westling (posted by )
Divino & Maldito ended up in AAA, with Aramis in as a replacement. Horuz won, but everyone was attacked by Sanson appearing as a surprise. Sanson explained backstage that he was unable to wrestle on the show due to “labor issues” (CMLL blocking him), but set up a match with Rey Horuz.

Sounds like this show was pretty good but turnout was down. Going four months in between shows probably hurt their momentum. Match 3 and 7 have the strongest reviews. Mr. Iguana’s fall looked frightening. He says he suffered a dislocated clavicle and will be out three weeks. Aramis had a scary moment as well. He was back wrestling Sunday.

The Mexa Wrestling versus Lucha Memes/Lucha Libre Boom feud turned into an angle at some point. The other promoters were here to set up a combined show on New Year’s Day.

Sangre Azteca talks about his win. This is the third lightning match he’s won in Coliseo three months, which is more about CMLL’s routines rather than any story they’re telling.

GALLI’s show tonight was canceled. It was announced as canceled only about 10 minutes after it was supposed to start, which didn’t really help people going to it. That was by the venue, who said it was a technical issue. The promotion hasn’t said anything.

This article on the WWE tryouts mentions one of the unidentified people in the Mexico contingent was American football player Edgar Ceballos.

Looks like AAA isn’t going to even list who’s on Lucha Capital this week. It’s a good idea if you haven’t worked out how the tournament is supposed to work.

Pirata Morgan says he’ll no longer let Pirata Morgan Jr. use that name, following the Junior being found out for stealing from his fellow wrestlers a couple months ago.

Herodes & Yoruba wrote on Facebook about a person being shot five times and dying in the crowd of a street show they were wrestling on Saturday night. R de Rudo has the posts., El Grafico mentions the death. It doesn’t seem like it had anything to do with the show.

Stukita Jr. talks about changing to Halcon Suriano Jr.

01/01 Arena Neza looks like OGTS vs Poder del Norte vs Lider/Pagano/Aguila in a cage, Escorpion/Texano defending tag titles against Psycho and a partner, and another Mascara & Maximo tag match.

I was thinking about Heroes of Lucha Libre for who knows what reason this weekend, and I noticed there’s now a Lil’ Heroes of Lucha Libre Facebook page. They’re still updating their normal Facebook, though there’s no idea of when a show will happen. I wonder if they or Arolucha will actually announce something first.
