Maya won by DQ for Dragon Rojo moving his mask, but it sounds like it fell of when doing moves rather than intentional.

Dragon Rojo and Guerrero Maya did promos talking about their odd match. They still want to feud. If only CMLL cared.

Garza Jr. went public with his WWE status in La Pasala. There were rumors he was turned down by WWE. Garza says that is not the case. Garza Jr. explains he was instead rejected by WWE’s doctors, due to his right shoulder, but WWE was and is interested in signing him. That’s been an injury he’s had at least a couple times during his career, and had surgery on last year. Garza tells the paper that he’ll get another chance to get looked at by WWE’s doctors in “early 2019”, and he’s hoping to pass that time.

What I’ve been told is Garza believes he came back too soon after the shoulder injury and it didn’t heal fully because of it. He’s taking that time off now – he hasn’t wrestled since mid-August – to see if it’ll help. The only matches he’s advertised in are in a trios match for Kaoz (which he’s the face of now) and the hair match with Bestia on the Crash Anniversary show. I don’t know for sure, but I think he’ll be taking more time off after those matches. That’s also how you can tell he truly believes he’s got a strong shot at making WWE – he wouldn’t be giving up work just to keep the story going.

There was an amusing angle on the AAA spot show in Tulancingo Saturday. DTU wrestlers have been working the undercard of AAA spots shows in Hidalgo all year; I’m not sure if they’re just there as local talent or if they’re actually the local promoters, but it seems like there’s some relation there. This meant, on this show, Crazy Boy teamed up with Nino Hamburguesa to win a three-way tag match. Afterward, many of the AAA wrestlers surprise attacked Crazy Boy, angry over DTU’s Ciclope & Miedo Extremo attacking Pagano & Lider on Friday night on the TV taping. This was a setup for some AAA vs DTU match or matches happening on the DTU Anniversary show in December.

Puma King was announced for DDT’s D-Oh Grand Prix. That runs from 11/30 to 12/30. Sammy Guevera is also part of that Grand Prix, which suggests he’s going to have zero defenses of the AAA Cruiserweight Championship after winning it at TripleMania. Guevera’s not on the Puebla card, he’s not on the Juarez card. I haven’t found the Orizaba card, but he’s not on the teaser poster they’ve put up. It’s fine, no one should care about the AAA Cruiserweight championship anyway.

Puma King & Barby’s videos have returned. Barby’s been dealing with medical issues but now the brains of the operation has returned.

Eita announced Daga as the new member of his RED group in Dragon Gate. Daga is now officially listed on their 11/04 show.

In Irapuato, Maravilla Strong & Angeluz Fly saved their hair and took the masks of Perro Negro & Perro Callejero.

Los Macizos retained the GCW tag team titles in TIjuana over Crazy Frank and Nicho.
