Gran Guerrero fouled Caristico to set up the win in the main event.
The main event was on par with usual Tuesday main events. Shocker & Rey Bucanero have advanced to the matching gear stage of their relationship and seemed to be working harder than usual. Gran Guerrero and Carístico made it very clear they’re feuding with really doing anything complex. That does give me some worry about the ceiling for the title match, but they weren’t asked to do much here The Chaves brothers are very prepared for a tag team title shot that never seems to be coming.
The lighting match was the usual multiple dive formulaic performance, not a standout for either guy. Cometa did a little more than his usual spots. Drone did some of his but seemed not to be into the match. Neither man had much creativity and they ended it was a Destroyer, so there’s not a lot to be gained from watching this.
The micro match felt like the b-version of the match. They’re still novel, it works enough, but it meant Microman had a relatively easy night while his two partners seemed to be in a lot more. Angel generally did better, though I’m not sure what the deal was with the spinning press slam spot – putting Mije down and having him just dizzily fall looked odd. Chamuel continues to look good at setting people up, Zacarias is still best on personality.
