Third straight week of Rush fouling UG. Will it go anywhere? Maybe. The tournament was fine.

Volcano and Kraneo talked about their first match. Volcano is Warrior Steel, who wasn’t wrestling much and looked green last night. There were so many big boots. He’s going to be a work in progress.

Not much going on tonight’s CMLL Arena Mexico show. UG & GG team with Cavernario against Azul, Valiente, and Volador. There’s no feud being built up yet. The lightning match, Rey Cometa/Tiger, looks like the best match on the show and maybe the only good one. It’ll air at 7:30pm on CMLL’s YouTube channel.

CMLL looks back at Rush’s wins over Terrible & Yoshihashi and the 1962 Anniversario main event.

Tickets from Impact’s shows in Mexico City on 09/13 & 14 will run from 220 to 660 pesos including service charges. ($11.35 to $34.05 USD) That’s higher than usual on the low side, but not super expensive.

Mr. Cacao has been running a fundraiser on Camp Fire (a Kickstarter type site.) He’s trying to raise money to bring in a second CMLL luchador for his 11/25 show. Virus is already scheduled to come, but he wanted to bring a second person. Today, he revealed the second person’s identity: Esfinge. They’re at 456,500 yen at last count, at a goal of 500,000 yen.

Diosa Quetzal, Lady Flammer, Ciclon Ramirez Jr. and Mini Rey Misterio (Octagoncito) will debut on Televisa’s Reto 4 Elementos this Wednesday. This is the reality competition show AAA participated in earlier this year. This indie?/Elite? team will not also be the first team eliminated, though that’s partly because they’re being brought in three weeks into a competition. I’m refusing to dive deep into this, but my impression they’re competing to get added to the show going forward. As with Dragon Lee on Exalton, these four will not be wrestling as long as they’re on the far more popular TV show.

Penta, Fenix, and Bandido don’t appear to be around AAA this month but do show up on 11/11 show in Aguascalientes.

LuchaWorld has this week’s Poster-Mania.

2) Alas de Acero & Mexica vs Death Metal & Demonio Infernal

1st defense
5) Dr. Cerebro © vs Imposible [IWRG IC MIDDLE]

7) Hijo del Alebrije © vs Hijo de Canis Lupus [IWRG JUNIORS]
2nd defense

1st defense
9) Mr. Electro vs El Hijo del Medico Asesino [IWRG IC HEAVY]
3rd defense, first in over a year

Everything is happening. Chico Che and Teelo are having a hair match for no reason among five different title matches on the annual carnival of champions show. All matches are one fall, which sort of explains why there’s so many of them. They’re missing the IWRG Lightweight title (vacant after Pantera I missed a defense), tag (Villano V Jr. & Rokambole), and trios (Navarros).

MDA (SUN) 09/30/2018 Arena Coliseo Monterrey
1) Mini Difunto vs Komander
2) The Tiger vs Aramis (Estado de México)
3) Obsesión vs Jack Evans
4) El Divo vs Emperador Azteca (IWRG)

6) Caifan vs Nicho el Millionario
7) Hijo de LA Park vs Silver Star
8) Último Dragón vs Charles Lucero
9) LA Park vs Mr. Electro

All singles matches for MDA’s next show. Nothing jumps out ot me, though Dragon/Lucero is a unique match.
