CMLL forgot to turn the sound back up for this match. Rudos took 1/3.

Triton/Audaz felt more like a quick indie match than a CMLL lightning one, in a good way. Triton praised Audaz but said he went full out because he always wants to win.

The other promo was Sonic explaining he’s been gone due to Coyote-caused injury and now he’s back for revenge. Sonic’s last match was against Coyote, though he was having leg isuses prior to that. It’s a good enough story.

CMLL (TUE) 07/24/2018 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [CMLL]
1) Joker, Magnum, Micro b Carlo Roggi, Mr. Apolo, Ráfaga
2) Akuma, Frezzer, Yago b Explosivo, Magnus, Príncipe Diamante
Principe Diamante replaced Starman. Rudos took 1/3.
3) Okumura, Pólvora, Tiger b Drone, Guerrero Maya Jr., Súper Astro Jr.
rudos took 1/3
4) Cavernario, Mephisto, Rey Bucanero b Esfinge, Soberano Jr., Titán
Rudos took 1/3. Titan accidentally hit the referee, and Mephisto pulled his mask to win.
5) Atlantis, Dragón Lee, Rush b Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón
Atlantis & Rush did not get along even after winning.

Maybe they’ll go with Mephisto/Titan, but neither show for sure is building up a match right now.

Lucha Underground 4×7 (“The Gift That Keeps Giving”) airs tonight. Matches advertised

  • Son of Havoc vs The Mack vs Ivelisse vs El Dragon Azteca Jr. vs Dezmond X vs King Cuerno for the Gift of the Gods Championship
  • Sammy Guevera vs Jake Strong

The description also promises an update on Mariposa & Marty, who haven’t been seen since the first episode. There is usual a second preview (with a link to a video clip) that gets sent out Tuesday or Wednesday to more important sites than this. Haven’t seen it seen it this week. I’d guess there’s one more match to be added. Everyone’s very concerned about the foreshadowing of Lucha Underground tweeting out a photo of Vinne Massaro while Matanza is sacrificing lower level characters.

In an interview, Terrible talked about being happy about being an Ingobernable. He’s not worried about Shocker & Rey Bucanero coming after them for leaving, because neither man are in the condition to do anything about it.

AAA posted their 08/10 AAA TV Veracruz lineup. It’s unchanged from what was posted on Facebook last week, including Dr. Wagner being in the main event.

Segunda Caida watches the Cuatrero vs Angel de Oro mask match.

LuchaWorld has the latest Lucha Report.

Critero Hidalgo has an interview with local wrestler Charro de Jalisco.
