Team Caristico took 1/3. Mistico ripped off Caristico’s mask in the third fall, at a point that did not appear to be the designed finish. Rematch challenges followed.

Post match promos were Mistico and Carisitco yelling about each other. Rush/Atlantis seemed fine. Main event probably ended about three minutes early. This was another week with a big Arena Puebla turnout.

Tonight’s CMLL Arena Mexico show has a traditional main event, with obvious tecnicos Angel de Oro, Niebla Roja and Mistico taking on the Felino/Niebla/Casas version of Peste Negra. It should be a simple main event to get the fans to react something. The trickier match has Audaz and Triton meeting for the first time in a lightning match. Both could use a good base to work with, and might not have a lot of experience in that role themselves.

The rest of the card is normal trios matches with nothing seemingly going on. Blue Panther, Kraneo and Stuka take on Ephesto, Lucifierno and Hechicero (who has the night off from announcing.) Fuego, Pegasso and Rey Cometa face Misterioso, Sagrado and Kawato; that feels like one CMLL has run a million times with other people in Kawato’s spot. (The database says it’s actually only twice.) There’s a women’s match with a lot of newer lucahdoras, and Sonic makes his first appearance in CMLL of the year in the opener.

Lucha Central has a preview of the show. It streams at 7:30pm.

Guadalajara has Atlantis , Dragon Lee and Rush versus NGD.

Tickets are on sale for AAA’s 11/16 in Bogota, Colombia. Ticket prices are 40,000 to 227,000 Colombia Pesos ($13.60 to $77.18 USD.) The ticket site does something I’ve not seen elsewhere, list how many tickets will be on sale in each pricing tier. If I’m understanding the chart correctly, they’re selling 8,739 tickets and the maximum gate (not including service fees) is around $230,000 US if all those tickets sell.

Keyra wrote on Facebook that she’ll still be wrestling this week after suffering a knee injury on the Lucha Memes show Sunday.

Kamicazes del Ring has Flyer vs Mr. Leo vs Emperador Azteca and Bandido & Flamita vs Latigo & Toxin on Saturday.

El Grafico has a brief story on Ultimo Dragoncito teaching in CMLL.

The Crash says they’ll be bringing in Los Nueva Generacion Dinamitas soon.

Puma King has a video centered around his AAA/ELITE appearance.

AAA’s annual pilgrimage will be August 22nd, the Wednesday before TripleMania.

+LuchaTV has a new edition of their podcast.

LuchaWorld has this week’s Poster-Mania.

Super Angel lost his mask to Guerrero del Infierno in Arena Xalapa. Super Angel is Freddy Avila Hernandez, 30 years, 12 years a wrestler, from Xalapa.
