Zenshi (?) was a surprise wrestler. Cobre suffered an injury and couldn’t finish teh match.

Solar beat Adonis. Sam Adonis challenged Solar & Movado to a tag match.
8) Último Demonio b MasadaWotanDifunto I [super libre]
Difunto I added the match (his match with Black Terry was canceled.) Demonio beat Wotan, who was knocked out on the final move.

Wotan took a bump from the top rope to a unfolded chair on the floor, hitting his head on the seat of the chair. That ended the match, though that’s not really the issues. There was immediate concern when Wotan was knocked out. There was no doctor on hand. Justiciero, who owns Coliseo Coacalco though wasn’t the promoter of this specific event, performed CPR chest compression on Wotan. Others helped out. Wotan regained consciousness. (Black Terry Jr. & Estrellas del Ring have video of this, if you really want to see it.)

While this was happening, a fan yelled “dejalo que se muera” (“Let him die”.) That started a brawl between fans, one the wrestlers themselves had to break up.

Cobre was also hurt on the show. His match was listed on the poster as a trios match but turned into a five way. All the flyers were in that match, but La Magnifica’s match was the “Aerial Assault” match. Coacalco was around half full for this event.

Emperador Azteca defeated Super Mega to win this year’s Rey del Ring. Imposible, last year’s winner, asked for the first title match. Silver King, masked, was one of the surprise wrestlers.

This is quietly Lunatik Extreme’s third hair match of the year here, though first in a normal singles match. He beat X-Corpio in a final of a trainee cage match, and he beat Ram el Carnero in another cage match final.

Today’s Puebla show is another strange one with no big match and odd matchups. It seems like a singles match is coming next week: this is week three of Rush & Kraneo feuding in the main event. Tonight’s show has Los Ingobernables against Kraneo, Rey Bucanero and Ultimo Guerrero. It’ll probably be OK, which you could say about all five matches on the show. NGD face Hijos del Infierno in a rematch of the national trios title switch. The Panthers & Fuego take on Misterioso, Sagrado & Malayo, will someone will definitely lose a fall when they’re not paying attention. Arkalis, Magia Blanca and Rey Samuray are an interesting tecnico trio facing a not interesting rudo trio of Fuerza Chicana, Rey Apocalipsi sand Sangre Azteca. Policeman and Sombra Diabolika team with the debuting King Roker against Astro, Asturiano and Black Tiger in the opener.

Lucha Central has a preview of the show. It’ll air on CMLL’s YouTube page at 9pm CT.

A show in Mazatlan set up a Kawato San hair match in the near future. In a match between the teams of Kawato, Okumura and Johnny Idol (rare sighting) and Principe Kisho, Esfinge and Vaquero Jr., Kawato fouled Principe Kisho three times. Kisho challenged him to a hair match on the next show, though it’s not clear when that would be. NGD were disqualified in the main event against Soberano, Niebla Roja and Angel de Oro. Villano III & Terremoto King were honored on the show.

It’s not quite Caristico’s casa yet, but Penta did appear for a three way match with Atlantis and Extreme Tiger in Guanajauto on Sunday. Not sure if Tiger was there.

Stuka says he’s going to win the title from Ultimo Guerrero tomorrow and then take Gran Guerrero’s mask next. Not sure what Gran Guerrero did.

Promociones Juniors in San Luis Potosi says AAA is back on 07/18, with the tease of it being a TV taping. AAA usually runs a TV taping instead around the first week of October in SLP, so it’s probably just a house show.

A brief article about wrestling in Panama.

Congratulations to The Gladiatores for reaching 12 years online.

Lineup

1) Bengala & Sensei vs Camorra & Cholo
2) Leono, Príncipe Diamante, Sangre Imperial vs Metálico, Príncipe Odín Jr., Yago
3) Ángel, Gallito, Microman vs Chamuel, Mije, Perico Zakarías
4) Audaz vs Virus [lightning]

6) Hechicero, Máscara Año 2000, Negro Casas vs Diamante Azul, Kráneo, Stuka Jr.

This is going on about the same time as DragonMania, so there’s no chance anyone is filming this. I’d be one to go if I was in Mexico. Audaz/Virus is going to be a thing.
