4) El Divo & Fuerza Guerrera b Demus & Panthro Fuerza Guerrera y el Divo vs Demus y Panthro en MDA en la Arena Coliseo de Mty (posted by Estrellas del Ring)
most of the match was a brawl out of the ring. Fuerza snuck in a foul on Panthro. Demus challenged everyone. Money thrown in the ring.
5) El Mesías b LA ParkRush El Mesías vs Rush vs L.A Park con MDA en la Arena Coliseo de Mty (posted by Estrellas del Ring)
in the usual madness, Park fouled Rush, Rush pulled off Park’s mask, and Mesias submitted Park to an armbar. Every challenge followed.

Seems like they drew well here again. All mentions of MAD seem to be eliminated from the promotion they started in.

6) Carístico & Octagón b Fuerza Guerrera & Penta 0M Carístico vs Penta Zero M vs Octagón vs Fuerza Guerrera, en Lucha Libre Boom *Lucha Completa* (posted by +LuchaTV)
listed as a four way, but ended up as a tag match. Penta suggested a four way mask match afterwards.

They’re not doing a four way mask match. This show drew well, which seems to be the pattern with the non-IWRG shows in the IWRG building. Enterrador 2000 is the former The Animal!

CMLL is doing a lot of press with this luchadors in this first block. Magia Blanca talks about being a fourth generation luchador. Flyer says his dream is to make it to NJPW. Espanto Jr. says his father (the original Pentagon) made him cry when he started training, because the training was so hard.

CMLL writes about Shocker winning the 1995 Gran Alternativa.

Drago, Fantasma and Aerostar vs DJZ, Dezmond Xavier and Andrew Everett airs tonight on Impact’s TV show.

Tickets for 06/03 AAA Verano de Escandalo show are on sale. The ticket site is a little strange; prices run from 1400 down to 116 ($75 USD to $6). That 1400 is for the second row; first row was sold out the moment tickets went on sale, and there’s nothing what they would cost in theory. The prices are high compared to a normal show, but not especially high for a major AAA show and cheaper than the ColiseoMania show later this summer.

RIOT has Riotmania on 05/26 in Arena LLF

The Crash (or something close to it) is running their Centro de Alto Rendimiento (ex-Salon Citalli) on 06/17

Not sure who Savage is.

It’s been a few years since the usual article from Torreon lucha libre commissioner complaining about the lack of people actually getting licensed, but it’s back. This time, the commissioner (Arturo Zarate) pats himself on the back for cleaning up the scene over the last 14 months and feels things are going well. Currently, about 180 of 270 wrestlers are in the area are licensed. The rest must get licensed by May 14th or be banned from wrestling on shows, something threatened every year when this story comes up but never seems to actually happen.

Violento Jack lost the King of Freedom’s championship.

The Gladiatores has an interview with Skayde and one talking to Chamaco Valaguez about his knee injury long ago.

Lineup

CMLL (MON) 05/07/2018 Arena Puebla
1) Centella Roja & Hijo de Centella Roja vs Policeman & Saurón
2) Arkalis, Lestat, Rey Samuray vs Espanto Jr., Guerrero Espacial, King Jaguar
3) Pegasso vs El Malayo [lightning]
4) Audaz, Drone, Stigma vs Felino, Misterioso Jr., Sagrado
5) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Rush vs Kráneo, Rey Bucanero, Terrible [Relevos Increíbles]
6) Valiente & Volador Jr. vs Carístico & Último Guerrero [CMLL TAG]
second defense

Another odd partner challenge to Valiente & Volador, this time for the tag titles instead of the trios. A title change is still unlikely but it could be pretty good.

Semimain is the Kraneo/Rush feud and a product of having the odd main event, but Terrible & Rush on opposite sides makes no sense.

Malayo gets another spotlight chance. I am not a huge fan of his but clearly the person in charge thinks he’s good. Hijo de Centella Roja makes his first appearance in over three months.

CMLL (TUE) 05/08/2018 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Divino, Mágico, Magnum vs Mr. Apolo, Ráfaga, Rey Trueno
2) La Maligna, La Vaquerita, Marcela vs Amapola, Tiffany, Zeuxis
3) Blue Panther Jr., Drone, The Panther vs Misterioso Jr., Templario, Universo 2000 Jr.
4) Esfinge, Titán, Tritón vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Hechicero, Pólvora
5) Mistico, Rush, Volador Jr. vs Cavernario, Euforia, Negro Casas

Semimian seems to be following up Esfinge/Hechicero issues from this past Tuesday.

We haven’t actually seen La Maligna since her debut in January; she’s working about one show a month on the non-streamed shows. This match likely won’t air either. Kaho Kobayashi leaving (and La Jarochita still being in Japan) should open up spots for more people.
