Show was alright. There was no must see match on the show on quality alone, but Sugehit/Seductora and Rush/Kraneo both had enough to satisfy people interested in those matches. It was really more the other matches which were slight disappointments. Crowd seemed good but we never got much of a look at the upper deck; they kept the lights low all night.

The stream went out before the main event and never came back on. CMLL & Marca didn’t acknowledge it happening. it was on Youtube either.

CMLL promos: Soberano, NGD, Princesa Sugehit, La Seductora, and Kraneo.

As Charro passed away earlier today. As Charro was a lucha libre star of the 70s and 80s. Another wrestler had been using the character more recently. Lucha Central has five things you should know about As Charro.

Jim Vasallone has a video interview with Konnan, where he says he’s back in AAA “booker/writer”. His explanation is the AAA family want to focus on going international, he talked about ideas, and they thought he was the best part for it.

AAA has a video up promoting Sammy Guevera and Darby Allin as coming in soon. No date is given. I wonder if Allin is the mystery man in the Verano de Escandalo match, or debuting on some other show.

Ticket prices for the Monterrey ColiseoMania show run from 113MXN ($6) for the 3rd deck up 2034 MXP ($109) for the Oro ringside section. They’re not selling the outfield seats. I’m guessing that’s the most expensive ticket in Monterrey history yet, but we don’t know what the prices are for Verano de Escandalo ticket prices are yet (and the Dodgers/Padres series looks a lot more expensive.) The ringside tickets are just a bit cheaper than last year’s CMLL Anniversary show and much cheaper than Wagner/Psycho.

Xavi, the son on Javier Llanes and grandson on Enrique Llanes, debuted on a show in Mexico City on Friday.

The Box Y Lucha commission of Nogales passed away.

We already knew the Block A teams. We still don’t know the Block B ones! It used to be repeat winners of young tournaments were unheard of, but CMLL did it with Soberano & Sanson last year and could move Magia Blanca & Atlantis again. I would like to see the big Yago run but I don’t think it’s likely. Maybe Flyer & Volador, maybe Electrico & Mistico.

Will Rush finally get a singles win? He’s facing Ultimo Guerrero so probably no.
