Teelo is Mario Rodolfo Martinez Sanchez, 21, 4 years a wrestler, from Mexico City.

Teelo is 21, which gives him time to have three or four more IWRG gimmicks at least.

I can’t believe Uro Rocker still exists. Here’s there to try to get the idea over these are the real Infierno Rockers, in the grand tradition of people picking up discarded AAA characters and pretending they were in them all along. (More on that whenever I get the 1996 Laguna post up.) Demon Rocker & Devil Rocker could be the originals. The guy in the Machine Rocker outfit doesn’t look much like Black Taurus though.

Today’s Puebla show has no singular big match, and some strange on the card. The main event is yet another incredible teams match, with Atlantis, Caristico & Negro Casas taking on Terrlibe, Valiente & Volador Junior. That definitely will allow Volador and Caristico to feud and might normally set up a tag title match, except the semimain seemed to be setting up a title match too. The NGD (Sanson, Cuatrero and Forastero) take on Angel de Oro, Niebla Roja and Dragon Lee for the third week running. That seemed to be setting up a trios title match, only the the rudos are already defending those title next Sunday in Arena Mexico. Maybe it’s Sanson/Dragon Lee instead? Whatever they’re doing, the semimain should be the best match of the night.

The Tamaulipas Panteras make a return in the tercera. They were around CMLL last year, including appearing on a Puebla show that had video issues. They were just OK. There’s obviously some other story of why they’re being dropped in the middle of cards to work together; it comes off as fantasy camp for luchadors, though I’m not sure if that’s what is going on. Pantera Blanca teams with Stigma & Stuka against Tiger and the Gemelo Pantera twins, who were tecnicos last time.

The rest of the card includes another women’s tag match, with Kobayashi & Sanely against Dalys & Comadnante. There is also a minis trios opener, with Astro, Asturiano, and Shockericto taking on Espiritu Maligno, Joker and Mercurio, which has the talent to be good if maybe not the motivation.

CultIcon also previews this show. It’ll stream at 9pm on CMLL’s YouTube page.

At last night’s The Crash show in Mexicali, Rey Fenix won a four way match, then announced he was moving up to heavyweight and giving up cruiserweight championship. He talks about it on his Facebook. It’s strange: if Fenix knew he was giving up the title, he could’ve done it New Orleans to Flamita or some other show. He also could’ve done it in front of the Tijuana fans, which are most of the fans who follow The Crash anyway. It’s the Crash, so the titles aren’t all that meaningless anyway, but they had built something up with the Fenix/Flamtia matches and now not so much.

EMW announced Arkangel Divino, Black Danger, Black Destiny (Black Boy), Ultimo Maldito, Mirage and Genio del Aire will appear on Friday’s AAA TV taping. The first four have been regular The Crash wrestlers over the last year and a half, though only Black Danger appeared on the show this past weekend. They only have been appearing in Auditorio de Tijuana for The Crash until now. This is not showing up for one of Tinieblas’ shows, this is them showing up in a promotion The Crash was specifically against. AAA has not be bringing in indie guys this year until now. This only specifically means there’s liable to be one more exciting match on Friday’s AAA TV taping. It just also suggests something has happened behind the scenes to change AAA’s thinking. These guys sure seems to fit with my theory from Saturday. Friday’s Tijuana taping is going to be interesting.

Possibly of lesser importance: isn’t Black Boy supposed to be still suspended? Is he using five different names to confuse people about who they’ve suspended?

The Toryumon Mexico show over the weekend set up the 05/26 DragonMania main event: Sam Adonis & Ultimo Dragon versus Patan & Super Ciudadano in an incredible partners mask with and hair on the line. I’m guessing it’ll turn out the losing team faces off and only one hair or mask is one the line. Super Ciudadndo is Sangre Imperial, so it’s unlikely he’ll be getting unmasked and obviously Ultimo Dragon isn’t losing.

MLW announced Pentagon Jr. will challengion champion Shane Strickland on their 05/03 show.

The Crash announced Tessa Blanchard for their 05/19 show.

Black Terry Jr. has photos of the Zona 23 extreme show at Arena Independiente. He’s also got video highlights. It went, for me, from “wow, that’s amazing” to “maybe that’s a little too much” to “i’m scared the police are going to arrest me if I RT this.”

LuchaWorld has the latest news report.

AAA/LU related matches on Impact’s Redemption PPV this weekend:

Four people from Yucatan are making Lucha Libre Legendaria, a Mexican wrestling video game. They’re working with FMLL (Tinieblas) group. It does not sound like they’re close to being done; there’s no release date mentioned.
