The CMLL recaps are pushing the idea that Hechicero vs Blue Panther Jr. is still a thing after their mask match. I’d doubt that normally, but obviously unusual things are happening in CMLL.

Euforia unmasked Diamante Azul.

just to recap the insta feuds

Monday: Diamante Azul vs Marco (title match coming up)
Tuesday: Caristico vs Euforia
Friday: Diamante Azul vs Terrible
Sunday: Diamante Azul vs Euforia

One choice when there’s not a lot of the usual big names around is to give new people changes. The other choice is to make every main event a Diamante Azul one, I guess.

Getting live Guadalajara results again is a novelty.

This week’s AAA show is up, finishing up the AAA TV taping from Xalapa on December 2nd. That’s a long time ago, so there’s a good chance you’ll have forgotten the outcomes.

AAA TV also lists the upcoming taping schedule

  • 01/26 Mexico City, Guerra de Titanes, still 12 days away, will this ever get here
  • 02/02 Toluca
  • 02/09 Aguascalientes
  • 03/04 Puebla, Rey de Reyes

There’s a month break in there to accommodate Lucha Underground, but they ought to be taping in Los Angeles (somewhere in Los Angeles) on March 4th. Maybe that’ll just be a week where they tape Friday & Saturday but not Sunday.

A two taping turn around for Rey de Reyes suggest they’re not going to build up much for that show. Really, AAA’s pattern the last couple of years is to build from Guerra de Titanes to TripleMania with not a lot of note happening in between, so when Rey de Reyes exactly happens probably won’t change things.

Noti AAA mentions that surprise main event in Toluca has Wagner & Psycho in it, but is not a singles match between them.

Lady Shani has an interview with ESTO and AAA has a sit down interview with her, two of numerous ones she’s done over the last week or so. AAA’s trying to raise her profile going into Guerra de Titanes and pushing her responding to Faby’s negative comments. AAA had a lot of real issues between their luchadoras in 2017, so at least they’re monetizing those issues in 2018.

Arolucha’s Facebook now adds shows on 02/16 in Beaumont and 02/17 in Humble.

DTU says they’ll have a combo event with FREEDOMS & GCW in March.

Michinoku Pro wrestler Daichi Sasaki announced he’d be heading to Mexico. No specific destination was mentioned.

LuchaWorld has the latest Lucha Report., inclulding a recap of Sam Adonis’ post match comments.

+LuchaTV has a new interview with Caristico.
