There is no CMLL show today. The usual CMLL Friday show is on Saturday for Three King’s Day. It’ll take place at 5pm, and will air on Claro as normal. This is a one week deal; the entire CMLL schedule goes back to normal after this.
CMLL posted an update on Negro Casas’ update. It reads as though they’ve got a substitute in mind for the tour, but is unclear if they’ll have all their paperwork to travel to Japan in time for the tour and it may be a Japanese substitute instead. NJPW has it’s post-WrestleKingdom press conference tonight at might, and they & CMLL usually announce the lineups just about the same time. That gives them the rest of the day to figure things out (or they could just leave it as a mystery person.)
CMLL also noted the debut of Audaz in Guadalajara on Tuesday, billing him as a new wrestler from Oaxaca who will be having his first match ever this Friday. In a remarkable coincidence, Oaxaca’s Fiero posted a Facebook update that he was in Guadalajara. The last person I can think of who got a new character so early into their CMLL run was Brillante becoming Sombra. Maybe Metalik became Mascara Dorada this quick too. I’m sure there’s others I’m blanking on, and it’s likely not just for creative reasons. There’s another Mexico City based Fiero, with his own Fiero Jr., who used to be part of CMLL and even part of their programming committee long ago. Usually CMLL doesn’t seem to care if someone else is using a name they want to use, but this might be a special case. Still, the pattern is CMLL’s not messing around with changing names early on unless they think they have something.

I believe Esfinge is the only guy on the FantasticaMania trip who is in Guadalajara the night before, but that may just be getting him one last night at home. Correction: I keep thinking Esfinge is going to Japan, but Esfinge is not going to Japan. They might be doing a Marco/Terrible feud.
