IWRG runs it’s anniversary shows about five weeks from now, so the turtles getting into a feud is something important to watch. At least when there are IWRG shows to watch: this was their first show in 10 days as they made way for the Crash, and I assume they’re not running on Sunday because Lucha Memes is running on Monday.

AroLucha’s first event appears to be 12/10 in Nashville. Rush, La Mascara, Jack Evans, Mr. 450, Lacey Lane and Vanilla Varagas are advertised. Jack’s probably not working the show due to passport issues, so that’s not a great start. It seems weird to me that Rush is working a TV show in the US with people other than CMLL, but that’s basically what he’s doing in Tijuana so I guess it’s fine. Tickets are all general admission for $20. This is probably a TV pilot, though I have no idea when/where it will air and they may not have figured that well.

CMLL has a news post advertising the Universo 2000 benefit show, so they’re assisting it while not being officially involved. In addition to the matches, Coloso Colosetti will be working as a referee.

Super Pinocho says he hopes this is the last time Trio Fantastia teams. He’s feuding with the other two on indie shows. This is as much about getting attention for the old guys who are still working, so I wouldn’t be surprised by them running their own angle in the opener to the confusion of everyone else. The legends on Friday’s CMLL show were on CMLL Informa, which Alfredo recapped in the latest Lucha Report.

Alberto’s been on a press tour talking about the charity show he’s headlining on 11/21. That interview is typical of them; the one topic that comes up is his war of words with Mil Mascaras. Sometimes he just talks around him, that one he more goes after Mil (“the promotion he was with hasn’t existed in 20 years”, show him a photo of Mil wrestling in South Africa, Italy, Rome, Romania, and Bulgaria and he’ll drop on his knees to apologize.) Paige doesn’t come up.

The annual Puebla lucha libre expo is this weekend: four shows over two days, admission free with a toy donation for the underprivileged.

There’s a new episode of Lucha Talk up.

Hijo del Fantasma was on the latest Zona Ruda.

Wrestlers, boxers and trainers in Tepic will vote for a Box y Lucha commissioner on 11/21. It’s only open to those who who have valid licenses.

El Diario de Coahuila has a brief interview with local (and ex-IWRG) wrestler Rigo, who’s been wrestling since 1989. Rigo took Difunto I’s hair on Sunday.
