The bigger news from the show was what was announced for next week: the return of the Leyenda de Plata tournament. A bunch of tecnicos were announced for the match, which was said to be a start of the tournament. I think that means CMLL’s doing two weeks of ciberneticos and having the winners face off, but we’ll know more when the lineup turns up. La Mascara won last year’s tournament, but he won’t be coming back to defend this year.
The Dia Los Muertos shows were advertised as well. No dates were mentioned. It sure seems like Adonis/Casas is happening on one of those shows. CMLL’s due for a press conference on a coming Wednesday.
LA Park posted an article where MDA said they would no longer be running in Monterrey’s Arena Jose Suliaman for lack of security – people got robbed leaving their July show. They’re running Arena Coliseo Monterrey, which previously appeared to be another place people were trying to get away from running.
