More or less a regular Tuesday Guadalajara show that happened to take place on Sunday, and would’ve been the thing going forward if they hadn’t gotten cleared. Didn’t look like they were taping it.
CMLL posted the official government report that cleared them to run shows. CMLL was saying they were cleared on Thursday, but that one isn’t dated until Saturday. (There’s at least some confusion; Arena Ciudad de Mexico was on the list of approved buildings next to Arena Coliseo, suggesting someone got the two buildings confused.) They’re back in Puebla on Monday and Arena Mexico on Tuesday.
I’m waiting for full results on AAA & Lucha Memes, like always. The big news from AAA is Mundo is apparently sticking around at least thru Guerra de Titanes, since he kept the heavyweight title after dropping the other two. Tito Santana lost his hair after his trio and the tecnico were added to dome cage match.
AAA’s upcoming schedule has changed. The tentative schedule they handed out at the start of the year had a 11/10 show scheduled for Ciudad Madero. TV has replaced that with an 11/19 show back in Ciudad Juarez. This is at least the third year straight AAA’s tried to run in Ciudad Madero and had to cancel, but at least it wasn’t Guerra de Titanes this year. (The city and area has been under siege from drug related violent crime which make running major shows unwise, much like Juarez was not long ago.)
Pushing back the taping date a week leaves AAA without TV for a week. I suspect that means the Lucha World Cup will air in Mexico on November 18th (about a month after it airs in Japan.)
There’s also a TV taping in early December, but where it is does not seem certain. It was originally Xalapa. Last week’s TV had it in Queretaro on 12/03. This week’s TV removed the Queretaro date, and AAA’s promoters in Xalapa say AAA’s taping there on 12/02. It could be the last TV taping of the year, or the last on to air this year. AAA’s held off Guerra de Titanes until January the last couple of years, and would then have enough TV (plus the usual 3 weeks of best of) to last to January 27th. That’s 4 tapings + whatever they tape in Japan possibly left for the year.
Camuflaje & Junior won the DTU Tag Team Titles. DTU’s hyped this as the promotion losing more titles to X-LAW, but they had already lost these to a CMLL team that had not been on a DTU show since November.
La Mascara won a three way over Penta & LA Park in Arena Lopez Mateos on Saturday.
Garza Jr. & Hi69 defeated Hajime Ohara & Ultimo Ninja in NOAH. This was the match where Fenix was originally supposed to be in before AAA said no, and one that was going to lead to more appearances here if it went well.
The Heroes de Lucha Libre show in Ontario, California drew 2,500. That’d be great for any non-WWE US promotion, though this one said they were going to draw four times that much. If they really budgeted for that much, they’re probably not feeling good (and we don’t know if 2500 paid.) They did appear to be taping the show, so perhaps it’ll turn up somewhere. Blue Demon, Tinieblas and LA Park beat Sam Adonis, Russian Hacker and Trumposo in the main event.
Dulce Garcia (Sexy Star) won her second match, a unanimous decision. This match aired on TV, but the attention and interest for it seemed small compared to her first match. It’s a single sentence in the round up of other matches by the promotion. I’m not sure if it’s TripleMania or just the lack of novelty after she didn’t seem special in her first fight, but it was a lot lesser of deal this time around
Lucha Underground has a promo with Marty Martinez, who is breaking up with Melissa.
El Universal visits a personal El Santo museum.

The Crash goes to Monterrey – and Garza Jr. isn’t booked, probably because he’s in Impact. Carlito looks a bit out of place in that semimain, but it’s a good card.
Flip being back on these shows is interesting. The Crash seemed to be under the impression they could no longer book ROH guys, until the Young Bucks read about it and said they could still work there.
