Super Mega wants a title shot at Imposible.

A lot matches to suddenly set up title matches because they suddenly decided they were doing the four title match show next week. Warriors might be tag champs because Black Terry will be in Japan then (and Negro Navarro isn’t around to lose the trios titles.)

Mascara got involved, but Maximo countered him out. Vague tease of Skayde Jr. vs Fenix if/when Fenix returns into 2018.

I went to this. They didn’t announce any of the matches ahead of time, but announced that Penta, Fenix, DJZ, La Mascara and Maximo would be on the show. I didn’t realize that was going to be the main event until they suddenly announced it was time for the last match and all those guys left. They totally went for it and did some insane things I was not expecting. My phone camera work doesn’t do the match justice, but it’s worth going out of your way to check out. DJZ pointed out Penta and Fenix (and really DJZ too) don’t really have to go 100% at these small shows, but they still do because that’s who they are. There was a vague idea of them coming back sometime in 2018; they set up something with Skayde, but it was less certain than last time around.

I think I’m taking my terrible video skills to Santo/Mysterio show in Cicero on Sunday, but we’ll see.

Johnny Mundo defeated Rey Horuz in the main event of the WUW show on Saturday. Drago vs Aerostar vs Willie Mack was said to be match of the night. Lady Shani picked up the win over Taya in what was said to be another good match.

Atomik Star & Eterno cheated to beat Hijo del Alebrije & Aramis in the debut show for Liga de las Sombras promotion in Coacalco. Celestial Boy suffered an injury on the undercard.

The Crash returns to San Luis Potosi on Wednesday. They drew really well there in their first time in a month ago. At the press conference for this show, it was announced this show would be a pilot for a TV show on Televisa. I’m skeptical: I think Crash already filmed a pilot some time back, and local promoters will often tease TV as a way of increasing attendance. Still, Televisa carried both AAA & CMLL for years, only dropping CMLL because (it was said) they didn’t do enough to modernize. The Crash is a more modern product.

The Octagon trial run continues in Puebla, teaming with Kojima & Volador against Gran Guerrero, Negro Casa and Kojima. The semimain is a strange relevos incredibles; perhaps they wanted to do something with DIamante Azul on the ‘rudo’ side, but now Johnny Idol’s there. He teams with Cavernario & Felino against Angel de Oro, Kraneo and Valiente.

Los Panthers and Stigma versus Misterioso, Sagrado and Vangellys are in the tercera and might be the best match of the night. The diabolical trio of Canelo Casas, Espanto Jr. and Disturbio face Arkalis, Rey Samuray and Tigre Rojo Junior. The opener has the Centella, Meyer, Ares, Perverso and Fuerza Chicano. It’s the normal 9pm start time.

DJZ posted videos talking about the Sexy Star incident and returning to Mexico after his injury.

Hijo del Santo and the TxT crew are headed to Madrid, Spain for a show on 10/07. Santo Jr., Silver King, Casandro, Laredo Kid, Bandido, Psicosis II, Hijo de Fishman, Octagoncito (I) and Mascarita Dorada are advertised.

DTU has a press conference to talk about their upcoming shows tomorrow at noon.
