Diamante Azul, working rudo, snuck in a foul and used the ropes to beat Marco. That set up a title match.

Title match sounds like it went well. They had a ref bump and Mephisto got a visual pin as if to tell the fans that Mephisto really wasn’t going to win and then Stuka hit the big splash but only for two. Mephisto used a valagueza soon after for the win. That’s a more self aware finish than usual.

That’s the second draw in four weeks, much more often than usual.

Last Tuesday was the Angel de Oro/Rey Bucanero match, so tonight’s Tuesday’s show either has a new feud picked at random or perhaps nothing at all. Very exciting. The main event has Rush weirdly on the tecnico side. Diamante Azul was on the tecnico side in Puebla and ended up feuding with Marco Corleone. That same pattern would suggest Rush versus Ultimo Guerrero as the new feud tonight.

Angel de Oro & Rey Bucanero are actually still on opposite sides of the semimain but there’s only a 50/50 chance they’ll remember they were feuding. They team with Niebla Roja, Titan, Mr. Niebla and Terrible. Drone, Fuego & Guerrero Maya take on old rudos Ephesto, Luciferno, and Felino. Luciferno is the young man on the team at 45.

Rey Cometa takes on Forastero in what should be a good lightning match. Vaquerita, Marcela and Sanely face Seductora, Metalica, and Tiffany in something that doesn’t look much good. Acero & Aereo face Pequeno Universo 2000 & Pequeno Universo in the opener.

The Crash put a date to one of the three apuesta matches they announced as doing this year: Oraculo and Black Danger will have their mask match on 09/02 in Tijuana. Black Danger’s the rudo but also probably the favorite since he’s Tijuana based and Oraculo really has only been using the character in this promotion.

Maximo teased Rush coming to The Crash, which they tease all the time and means nothing.

Usually, when you hear about a fight between a wrestler and a fan, it’s tough to find good video of it. Not when the wrestler just posts a clip himself: Garza has a video of him punching a fan from Tijuana. It sounds like the fan pulled the barrier back to cause Garza to fall, and you can see the security guy point out the fan who did it before realizing what Garza was going to do. La Mascara appears to have nearly gotten into a fight with the same fan later during the show.

AAA is telling finalists for the La Llave a La Gloria tournament to bring their gear and full identification. No S/N this time, I guess. They’re also telling fans to email for tickets if they want to be at the event. I’m sure there’s some logistical reason for it, but anyone lucha libre fan who shows up at Arena Naucalpan at 9am on a Saturday should get a space.
