CMLL (SAT) 06/10/2017 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Fantasy & Último Dragóncito b Mercurio & Pequeño Universo 2000
2) Disturbio, Nitro, Virus b Astral, Magnus, Pegasso
Rudos took 2/3. Magnus replaced Starman.
3) Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto b Ángel de Oro, Valiente, Volador Jr.
Rudos took 2/3, but Volador wanted a trios title match anyway because the match was really good.
4) Niebla Roja b Carístico, Johnny Idol, Stuka Jr., Misterioso Jr., Cavernario, Ripper, Drone, Blue Panther, Pólvora [CMLL LH]
Drone (Misterioso), Johnny Idol (Ripper), Polvora (Stuka), Misterioso (Stuka), Ripper (Blue Panther), Blue Panther (Niebla Roja), Caristico (Cavernario), Stuka Jr. (Niebla Roja), Barbaro Cavernario (Niebla Roja), leaving Niebla Roja as the winner.

It’s all coming up Niebla Roja, getting the big feud with Ultimo Guerrero while picking up his first ever singles championship. You might as well go strong with him if they’re going with him at all. Both he and his brother Angel de Oro (CMLL Middleweight) are champions.

LyP (SAT) 06/10/2017 Arena Lopez Mateos [+LuchaTV, R de Rudo]
1) Toxin & Tromba b Astrolux & Black Metal
Bonus match. Toxin & Tromba are Los Vendetta (wearing baseball uniforms)
2) Emperador Azteca b Imposible, Ciclón Black, Dragosth
Imposible was bleeding after a strong move from Azteca, who won th ematch.
3) Flamita b Sádico
Flamita actually beat Sadico (first time in a singles match after three previous losses), due to a Demus distraction. That’s a new feud.
4) Aero Boy b Low Rider
Low Rider replaced AR Fox (passport issue)
5) Rey Horuz b Jack Evans
Flamita asked for a rematch for the The Crash title.
6) Jeff Cobb, Rocky Lobo, The King b Demus 3:16, Juventud Guerrera, Súper Crazy
Rocky Lobo & Demus added to the match.

A lot names, but turnout wasn’t that great for this show – maybe 40% full? Matches are on YouTube with nothing look quite like a standout.

CMLL (SUN) 06/11/2017 Arena México [CMLL]
1) Leono & Sensei b Apocalipsis & Cholo
2) La Jarochita, La Vaquerita, Skadi b La Comandante, Metálica, Tiffany
tecnicas took 1/3
3) Cuatrero, Sansón, Universo 2000 Jr. b Blue Panther Jr., Rey Cometa, The Panther
Rey Cometa replaced Drone
4) Blue Panther, Dragón Lee, Titán b Dragón Rojo Jr., Ephesto, Luciferno
tencicos took 2/3
5) Rey Bucanero, Shocker, Terrible b Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Mistico
Rudos took 1/3. Terrible beat Marco clean and asked for a title shot. Marco said OK.

Next week’s the Father’s Day show, so a special main event fits even though it’ll be the second time CMLL’s Terrible/Marco in a few weeks. They probably should’ve just saved the heavyweight title decider match for this show but a) the Guadalajara crowd did get way into it and b) they might not be able to get everyone they needed on a Sunday

CMLL (SUN) 06/11/2017 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [+LuchaTV, Arena Coliseo Guadalajara]
1) El Patriarca & Mr. Ángel b Destello & Destructor
2) Furia Roja, Mr. Trueno, Rey Trueno b El Alteño, Explosivo, Johnny Dinamo
3) El Rielero, Magnum, Vaquero Jr. b Difunto, Joker, Sádico
Vaquero submitted Joker, wants a title shot on the 06/25 show.
4) Black Sugar, El Divino, Fantástico, Tigre Blanco DQ Gran Kenut, Guerrero de la Muerte, Linterna, Thunder Boy
Relampago & Cosmos ran in as Divino was about to submit Thunder Boy. The ensuing scrum set up a 10 man cage match for 06/25.
5) Star Black b Nautilius [mask] Facebook video (posted by )
Star Black survived a foul to cradle Nautilius for the win. Star Black is Cesar Ángel Montes Ramirez, con 10 years a wrestler.

I watched the mask match because I probably should watch a Star Black match if I’m thinking he’s going to be an important guy. He was alright, the match was good for a young guys mask match, and the crowd rushing around the ring after the finish was a sight. Nothing you need to see but enjoyable for the moment.

Powerbomb.TV held their Breaking the Barrier show today. It’s not yet up on their site for VOD yet, but the Periscope stream should still be alive for a while. The first wrestling match is 37 minutes in, the lucha tag is about 3:33:00 in, and the main event is about 4:18:00. It was a long show, as you can tell by those time stamps, but a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The Skyade/Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Puma/Felino match was really strong, with Felino looking like the Felino if the 90s and Skayde doing well too. The younger guys did well, but you expected that out of them, this was the best Felino performance in I don’t know how long. It was my favorite match of the night, though I could see people picking the main event or the Pratt/Ophidian match or others on the show as theirs. Fly Warrior did win the main event, but was attacked by Jonathan Gresham and Gresham walked off with the new Powerbomb.TV championship belt. The belt was announced as going to the winner of a tournament that’ll stretch over four promotions (2 in the US, 1 in Canada, 1 in Mexico, all unnamed), but they’ll have to get it back first.

Hijo del Santo opened a new store this week. (It’s a change of locations; he was originally located at the airport.) Santo Jr. did interviews, talking about how he could make his Mexico City debut in the Zocalo in September. (They want to do it, but the government has to say OK so who knows.) Earlier in the week, Leo Riano wrote the Santo Jr./Garza Jr. match was off because Santo Jr.’s people raised his price after agreeing to the match. Santo Jr. said it was just an issue between his manager and the promoter and he still wants to do the match.

On a Facebook live with Solar, Mascara 2000 said Universo 2000 is out of danger.

Astral says that, when he was promoted to the main division, he found some of his opponents did not trust his skills and made negative comments. Astral does not say who he’s referring to, maybe because it’d be tough to name all the old cranky guys in the second matches he’s been working against.

Lucha Memes/MDA show from Arena Puebla will be up complete Monday at 8pm via +LuchaTV.

AAA’s show is up. And so, weirdly enough, is Friday night’s CMLL show. Not sure if it’s a one time thing related to the stream quality or what. If IWRG/+LuchaTV can just put up the IWRG undercard matches, I’m totally obsolete.

LuchaWorld has the latest news update.
