What happened:

Univero’s finish is kind of like Canelo Casas’ finish, but actually good

Not much. Marco beat Terrible in the main event to end their feud for a moment. Sagrado unmasked Blue Panther Jr. for no real reason. Princesa Sugehit & Zeuxis feuded as always.

Review:

foreshadowing

The usual forgettable Tuesday show overall, thought the main event felt a little different the usual. It was a lot more about the win and less about playing to the crowd, with Marco and Terrible taking some of their usual chemistry into a quick three falls match. There were more than a few spots that felt like it was a dry run for the cibernetico a week later, especially Marco pulling out the same cradle here that he’d use to win the title. They made it work for the time they had and it wasn’t far of from being good.

The rest of the bigger matches were about the same for me. The third one held together a little better than the two trios after it, and didn’t have a pointless DQ like the fourth match. Tiger & Puma looked very smooth in the match (the opposite of Oro Jr.) and made that match work. Universo 2000 Jr. looked alright, but he’s maybe a match higher than he should be at this point and not yet at the level of his cousins.

Soberano worked well with the semimain rudos. Mephisto’s obviously the big match for him, but I also wanted to see him work with Gran Guerrero – if only to see how far Gran Guerrero could throw him on his finish if he didn’t really care about hurting Soberano.
