The CMLL Guadalajara TV is starting early and being cut off later the last few weeks, so that third match could turn up.

Guadalajara’s Antrax pased away yesterday. Superluchas has a good obit. He was a second generation luchador who was one of the top local rudos in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara in the mid 2000s. His most famous match was teaming with his brother Ebola against Volador & Mistico in 2004, which was the first big apuesta win for the CMLL duo. He’d been wrestling on indie shows as recently as last November, and his last known match was actually back in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara on a Leyendas Inmortales show.

AAA’s next Llave de la Gloria tryout will be Saturday.

MedioTiempo has the pricing for the Freedom restaurant. It’s more a ticketed area where you get access to a buffet than a normal restaurant, so you’re paying a price for a seat than ordering off a menu. It’ll cost 550 pesos on Tuesday & Sundays and 750 pesos on Fridays. That makes the 900 pesos package with Turiluchas a bit of a deal, since it’s cheaper to get both together.

Last Friday’s CMLL show will air on NJPW World tomorrow. This show was not geoblocked, so maybe NJPW has nothing to do with that block and Claro just doesn’t pay attention.

ESPN has an interview with Dalys. It’s not a surprise she might be shading some years on her age, but the article opens with her saying that she started training for lucha at 27 and started wrestling 3 years later. That seems off by about 10 years.

Daga talks briefly about his match with Zach Sabre Jr.

LigerFever translated Octagoncito/Mini Rey Misterio confusingly speaking about his name change. He’s still working AAA shows as Octagoncito.

What happened:

this was not good

Niebla Roja still wants to wrestle a técnico style, still is on the rudo side but more actively cost his team the win this week.

Cometa led his team to a straight fall win. He didn’t actually pin Cavernario in any of the falls – he got Bobby & Pólvora in the first, then was pinning Pólvora again in the second when Cometa fouled him – but he and Cavernario feuded the entire match so it set up a singles match anyway. Cavernario accepted in between punching Cometa in the face.

JCR was enthusiastic about the (remote, unlikely) possibility of a Reina Isis/Skadi apuesta match. Based on this match, that would’ve bee one of the worst matches of all time.

Hechicero was a guest commentator for what appears to be the first time.

Thoughts:

Niebla Roja just watching it go by

This show was too boring to review each individual match. It was probably too boring to watch, but that I did.

Everything was the same or less than you’d expect – the last two matches were disappointing, though the main event was disappointing in the same way of all Niebla Roja matches. Cometa/Cavernario feuding is good, but the match to set it up wasn’t much. The fourth match was the best match on the show with them going farther and longer than expected to make it worthwhile, but Stigma had a bad night. He would’ve been the worst wrestler on a show that didn’t have that women’s match.
