This show may turn up later tonight on AYM.

Ultimo Guerrero and Caristico meet once tonight in Puebla. It’s one of the more predictable singles matches CMLL can roll out: Ultimo Guerrero doesn’t lose much, Caristico seems to never win the big match in CMLL now, and both guys are focused on making sure the fans get to see all their regular spots every time. It makes for a safely good match but one that doesn’t seem likely to reach a high ceiling. The two faced in singles match many times in Mistico’s first run, but this is actually the first time they’ve had singles title match.

It’s grab bag tag matches the rest of the way. Maximo & Mistico team with Negro Casas against Ephesto, Mephisto and Volador in a relevos increibles match with no obvious purpose. Atlantis, Stuka and Valiente face La Mascara, Mr. Niebla and Pierroth in a match which won’t be much. Guerrero Maya, Rey Cometa and Rey Samuray take on Misterioso, Policeman and Sangre Azteca. Arkalis, Black Tiger, and Principe Diamante face Arkangel de la Muerte, Nitro, Toro Bill Jr. in another match that doesn’t seem all that promising. The Centella Roja family face Fuerza Chicana & Guerrero Espacial in the opener.

The show starts at 9pm on CMLL’s YouTube, though you may want to skip to at least the second hour if you’re not crazy enough to watch everything.

Lucha Underground starts tonight on Tele5 Germany, an over the air station. The show had already been airing on the local version of TNT. Wikipedia says the TNT station has 0.1% audience share, and Tele5 has 0.9% audience share – so it’s either a 9x increase or still a station off the radar. Either way, these kind of deals can open revenue sources for LU if they’re successful.

LuchaWorld has the latest news update and this week’s Poster-Mania.

A Santo mural was unveiled in Aguacalientes.

  1. I really hope Nicho is getting all the work he can right now. On a recent episode of Mas Lucha, he appeared in a short snippet of a The Crash show, and his knees looked really bad. The guy must be in real pain now every match he wrestles in.
