Lucha Memes (SUN) 03/26/2017 Arena Naucalpan [+LuchaTV, Black Terry Jr. (Flickr)]
1) Baby Star Jr., Dragón Negro, Magnético b Demasiado, Pitufo, Vengador Radioactivo
money thrown in
2) Alas de Acero, Aramis, Iron Kid b Demus 3:16, Mercurio (CMLL), Pierrothito
Iron Kid surprised Demus to get the win (despite losing some blood.)
3) Trauma I & Trauma II b Totem I & Totem II
4) Puma (CMLL) & Tiger b Corsario Negro Jr. & Drako
good match
5) Black Terry & Negro Navarro © b Hechicero & Virus [Arena Coliseo TAG]
2nd defense. Money thrown in.
6) Dragón Lee & Soberano Jr. b Demonio Infernal & Sádico
Demonio Infernal replaced Sammy Guevera. Good match.
7) Atlantis b Último Vampiro

Sounds like a good show, with all the matches sounding like they went well.  Guevera missed his flight. There’s a video from the promoter explaining it on Facebook, but Facebook privacy settings are awful and confusing. It sounds like Demonio Infernal did well in his spot and that’s a match I hope we get to see. Lee & Soberano wore matching outfits and would be a good tag team if CMLL had a tag team division. Puma/Tiger & Corsario/Drako looks good in the photos

Attendance was down a bit, I could actually see the bleachers in the upper section.

Lucha Memes say Black Terry & Negro Navarro will be on CMLL shows in April.

Toryumon Mexico (SUN) 03/26/2017 Gimnasio Cuauhtemoc, Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal, Miguel Hidalgo, Distrito Federal [Estrellas del Ring]
1) Fire Man b Thonder Stromm
2) Sonic & Stukita b Icaro & Pequeño Olímpico
3) Hijo del Signo & Piel Roja b Platino & Skerman
4) Jorge Kebrada, OT Fernandez, Súper Ciudadando b Black Thunder, Douki, Patán
Black Thunder replaced Daisuke Hanaoka.
5) Rey Bucanero & Sam Adonis b Argos & Último Dragón
Adonis snuck in a foul on Dragon for the win.

I wonder if they’re doing Adonis/Dragon in May.

Do you want more Pierroth versus Diamante Azul? You’re getting it anwyay. Los Ingobernables face Azul, Terrible and Mr. Niebla in a rematch of last week, which is probably setting up a singles match next week. The semimain looks much better, with the Guerreros (UG, GG and Euforia) versus Marco Corleone, Matt Taven and Volador Jr.

The undercard includes Princesa Sugehit defending her championship against Zeuxis. I’m not going to again make the mistake of saying there’s no chance of a title change happening, but just that it doesn’t seem to make sense at this point in the story. It should be a good match. The early matches don’t look as promising. Fuego, Pegasso & Soberano must deal with Misterioso, Skandalo and Toro Bill, which should at least continue the Soberano/Misterioso issue. Black Tiger, Espiritu Maligno and Millenium face Apocalipsis, Inquisidor, Policeman in the never progressing Espiritu/Policeman issue. The show opens with the Centella Rojas versus Perverso & Sombra Diabolika in a tag match of all recent additions to these shows.

CultIcon also previews the show. The show starts at 9pm local, but still 1 hour later if you’re on Daylight Savings Time. This is the final week of the time difference issue; Mexico’s clocks will switch late Saturday night. (Which will mean it’ll be off an hour for people in Japan and others places who don’t do DST.) It’ll air on YouTube as normal.

At a show in Acapulco, Rush said his father was now going by La Bestia now (or maybe La Bestia del Ring, the nickname they’ve been trying to get over.) Los Ingobernables said the same thing on a show last Saturday. It hasn’t taken in CMLL yet, but it’s coming if the people involved get their way. They’d rather not owe Pierroth.

The Record story (via Vampiro’s Facebook) on AAA’s La Llave de la Gloria tryout this Saturday says there were 130 people there. I have no idea where they got that number from; there looked to be only about 30 from what we saw and I don’t think they missed 100 people. Maybe they had a 130 people send in applications. The winners of this round will be announced Thursday.

Zona Ruda AAA debuts tonight on UTDN in Mexico. It’s on hour long AAA talk show, on the same channel that repeats the AAA show during the week. Bernado Guzman from +Lucha will be one of the hosts.

Lucha Libre y Pasion put up Rey Horuz vs AR Fox and Penta Zero M vs Mr. 450 from the Mucha Lucha Atlanta show. And there’s video of Psycho Clown vs Pagano from New York here.

Lineups

CMLL (SAT) 04/01/2017 Arena Coliseo
1) Astral, Flyer, Príncipe Diamante vs Artillero, Espanto Jr., Hijo del Signo
2) Pegasso, Robin, Tritón vs Cancerbero, Nitro, Sangre Azteca
3) Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr., Titán vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Forastero, Metálico
4) La Máscara, Pierroth, Rush vs Ángel de Oro, Diamante Azul, Johnny Idol
5) Carístico vs Euforia

There’s no title on the line, he’s going in with a loss, it’s Euforia – if Caristico can’t get a singles win here, it’s jut not happening and he should just give up and take Flyer’s place in the opener with Astral & Principe Diamante.

Pierroth still listed as Pierroth. Metalico in a tercera is weird.

CMLL (SUN) 04/02/2017 Arena México
1) Acero & Aéreo vs Pequeño Olímpico & Pequeño Violencia
2) Oro Jr., Star Jr., Starman vs Forastero, Misterioso Jr., Virus
3) Fuego, Johnny Idol, Rey Cometa vs Bobby Villa, Luciferno, Vangellys
4) Guerrero Maya Jr., Titán, Valiente vs Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja, Ripper
5) Carístico, Dragón Lee, Mistico vs Cavernario, Felino, Mephisto

Dragon Lee isn’t sticking around much past the ROH show, at least if he’s going to make this booking. (They have to get him out of Orlando before WWE grabs him.)

1) Micro vs Destructor
2) El Yaqui & Javier Cruz Jr. vs Demonio Rojo & Thunder Boy
3) Fantástico & Tigre Blanco vs Linterna & Mr. Brisa
4) Flash II, Mágico, Neutrón vs Évola, León Blanco, Pitbull I
5) Metatrón, Smaker, Vaquero Jr. vs Joker, Ráfaga, Sádico

Third match is a rematch from this past week. Evola & Magico were a rematch.

DTU (SUN) 04/16/2017 Arena Actopan, Actopan, Hidalgo
1) Hardy Boy, Masizito, Toto vs Drolux, Luigi, Químico Torres
2) Lokillo vs Niño De Cobre, Moria
3) Deluto III, Deluto IV, Deluto Jr., Deluto V vs Monje Solitario Jr., Poético, Príncipe Gladiador, Rey Tormenta Jr.

5) Marcela & Zuzu Divine vs La Magnifica & Lady Maravilla
6) Cíclope & Miedo Extremo vs Halloween & Ovett
7) Crazy Boy, Hormiga, Mistico II vs Paranoiko, Pesadilla, Psicosis II

There’s nothing to this show but I just needed an opening to point out Mistico is working quite a lot of DTU shows.
