Review: [good] A lot of a usual midcard trios match, but with some hot moves and a spectacular looking finish. Soberano was looking great in his big spots, easily having surpassed the Panther, and then was broken in half by the finish. Fuego & Puma were good early and disappeared as the match went along. Misterioso didn’t defeat himself in this match, which may be the first time that’s happened in years.
Match 4: Blue Panther Jr. vs Virus in a lightning match

Review: [ok] There’s a story with this match – Virus doesn’t believe he can physically match up with the much bigger Blue Jr., so he does everything he can to slow him down and antagonize him – but the only payoff is Virus unmasking him anyway. It may the whole thing kind of pointless and underwhelming.

Review: [ok] less here than you’d hope, with them going thru the greatest hits spots (which works better for a hot issue of La Mascara/Dragon Lee than for anything else.) Blue Panther and Cavernario had about 30 seconds of fighting which made me want to see them in a singles match to see if Panther would snap, and Cavernario landed his missile dropkick this time, so those are two good things. Nothing wrong, but nothing to slow down to watch.

Notes: I actually tried watching this for a moment before giving up and speeding thru it. Finish ash Azul knocking Rush down, Ripper coming back in to distract the referee, Pierroth pulling Azul’s mask, Azul chopping Pierroth with one hand while keeping covered, Rush fouling Azul, and Rush getting the pinfall even though Azul is clearly laying on his side.
