10:11. Sharlie first match officially in CMLL since November 2010. Team Mistico took 2/3. Mistico challenged Mephisto to a title match. Mephisto didn’t answer.

Mistico thinks he’s getting the title shot next week; I’d be surprise if they’re not saving it for the 18th. Jaguar & Ares is likely happening on that day.

Tonight’s CMLL Arena Mexico main event is billed as a battle of the heavyweights. It’s Marco, Diamante Azul & Michael Elgin vs Terrible, Shocker, and Kraneo. No word if they’ve re-enforced the ring. Dalys defends her title against Estrellita in the third match, and seems likely to retain it. Of note, Flyer’s listed in Stigma’s place in the second match in the preview. The previews have been fairly unreliable for changes of late, but Stigma did miss his last appearance so maybe there’s an injury there. Despite the title match, this isn’t a very exciting card. It still will air on CMLL.com & YouTube at 7:30pm.

Guadalajara tonight has a Volador/Tama Tonga main event.

CMLL is now renting the Gran Prix on their YouTube channel for $0.99 USD. There’s a promo for the Cometa/Cavernario match, so I suspect it’ll be up for sale eventually too. It’s a nice advance in availability for CMLL, hopefully not a one time thing. (It’s really make sense for the big Saturday/Sunday matches, if they’re truly being taped.) There is a bit of imbalance in the live PPV price – $17+ fees if you didn’t use the discount – and $2 combined for the two matches that actually mattered – but maybe they’ll figure that out over time.

I’m actually not sure if this is the same video that aired or something different (since the trailer is all handheld video from ringside), I may invest a $1 later to figure it out. As I understand it, YouTube rental videos have strange rules – for movies, you have 30 days to start viewing but must finish within 24 hours once your start watching. Not sure if it’s the same here, but I’d advise not buying until you know you want to watch it.

Tania la Guerrillera kept getting involved in matches on the show, including attacking wrestler/CWF rep Yelmo 2000 before the title match. This is setting up a promotion vs promotion match, but I’m not sure what promotion Tania la Guerrillera represents.

Let’s try this again! CMLL posted new lineups Monday afternoon for both weekend Arena Mexico shows. We’re getting the Volador/Kushida match after all, though it’s still a little strange: Volador beat Kushida in the Elite tournament, won the Gran Prix, and he has put up his championship? (Volador has a better chance of winning this way, though.)

The minis match got bumped from the card. It’s a stacked show with those matches as the opener, and it obviously makes sense as the first show for NJPW World to pick up.

1) Acero & Fantasy vs Pequeño Nitro & Pequeño Violencia
2) Flyer, Pegasso, Templario vs Forastero, Maquiavelo, Skándalo

5) Último Guerrero vs Michael Elgin
Michael Elgin replaced Kushida.

And here’s the UG/Elgin match, which would be a really great thing to put up on YouTube if you’re CMLL. Elgin’s title isn’t on the line, so UG has a shot.
