Fuijin walks the ropes

CMLL (FRI) 02/26/2016 Arena México [CMLL, thecubsfan, Yahoo! Deportes]
1) Demus 3:16 & Pierrothito b Astral & Stukita
14:04. Rudos took 2/3.
2) Fujin, Raijin, Skándalo b Blue Panther Jr., The Panther, Tritón
15:48. Rudos took 2/3.
3) Ángel de Oro, Dragón Lee, Stuka Jr. b Boby Z, Kamaitachi, Okumura
14:29. Tecnicos took 2/3, including Dragon Lee beating Kamaitachi in the third fall.
4) Dalys b Marcela [lightning]
8:06. Dalys pinned Marcela while holding onto the ropes.
5) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Mistico, Súper Parka, Volador Jr.
5:52. Rudos took 2/3. Negro Casas gave Super Parka a martinete (or at least attempted to), Volador tried to do the same to Casas, Tirantes broke it up, and Volador attacked him for the DQ. Parka was strechered out (maybe out of CMLL for the time being) and Volador angirly vowed to get revenge on Casas. Super Crazy came out afterwards to go back and forth with Felino about their hair match on Sunday.
6) Marco Corleone, Máscara Dorada, Máximo Sexy DQ La Máscara, Rush, Vangellys
8:53. Tecnicos won in straight falls. Rush fouled Maximo in the first, then Maximo faked a foul in the second.

Third match was the best match on the show, though they tried to do a good job of building up the big Homenaje a Dos Leyendas matches on the rest of the show. The martinete spot looked poor.

In Tijuana, Rey Misterio Heredero defeated Nicho in the main event trios match, setting up a ladder match between the two. Nicho earlier suggested he’d quit if the newest Misterio beat him. Konnan previous said Nicho’s looking to get knee surgery at some point.

This week’s AAA TV reveals AAA has a new taping on 03/11 in Naucalpan. That replaces Tampico on the schedule and takes care of the missing TV weeks. The lineup for that show should be announced shortly. AAA is also hyping an announcement/partnership today with MexicoGP, an auto race held in the fall.

Tonight’s Arena Coliseo show has Guerrero Maya Jr. & the Panther against Tiger & Puma for the Arena Coliseo Tag Team championship. Tiger & Puma talk about the match here. A title change is possible; maybe the biggest reason there wouldn’t be is Fuijin and Rajin are clearly getting a shot at some point.

The LuchaRama shows have started by the time you read this, but the show is a marathon so you’ll still have plenty of matches to check it out. The full scheduled card is here.

Pro Wrestling Revolution also has a $10 iPPV/$15 iPPV+VOD tonight at 9pm, with Silver King & Juventud Guerrera.

Arena Neza has a Perros del Mal/Psycho Circus cage match tonight. The show is being billed at a Perro Aguayo Jr. tribute.

Black Fire told DTU that his learned the style is different in England after his first match there, but there are plenty of people willing to help him adjust. Black Fire will be back in Germany on April 2nd, taking on Axel Dieter in WXW.

Aerostart has been added to WrestleCon.

Pentagon talks up his chances of winning in the Rey de Reyes block in Toluca, while Texano talks about the main event bull terrier match.

Plantilla Deportiva has interviews with Rush and Gran Apache.

Lineup

CMLL (FRI) 03/04/2016 Arena México
1) Hombre Bala Jr. & Súper Halcón Jr. vs El Cuatrero & Sansón
2) La Vaquerita, Marcela, Princesa Sugehit vs Amapola, Dalys, Tiffany
3) Esfinge, Titán, Tritón vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Virus
4) Marco Corleone, Máximo Sexy, Último Guerrero vs La Máscara, Rey Escorpión, Rush [Relevos Increíbles]
5) Kamaitachi © vs Dragón Lee [CMLL SL]
6) Atlantis, Máscara Dorada, Volador Jr. vs Cavernario, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas

If Volador actually has a surprise, next week is probably the time for them to appear.

There was no announcement of Kamaitachi/Dragon Lee on last night’s show, but it’s nice to see it happening. Not sure Dragon Lee is winning it back; with all the matches building to Homenaje a Dos Leyendas last week, it’s possible the finish is more of the same.

Rey Escorpion is back, just in time to be Thunder’s replacement again.

Guessing the women’s title match is next week.
