Zeuxis/Silueta is the only match worth watching, but it’s quite worth watching.

No full results from Guadalajara, but it seems Casas beat Dorada to set up the title match next week.

The CMLL press conference stuff will be in a separate post.

Tonight’s Lucha Underground is episode 5 (of 26), “The Machine”.  Announced matches:

This is a sequel to Mundo/Cage back in episode 13 of the first season. That one was called “Johnny Mundo vs. the Machine”. The names are a little less creative this time around.

The taping for this episode included a fourth match that hasn’t been announced (so they might have cut it.) There is a debut on this week’s show, though maybe not the one you’re expecting.

Prior to the Lucha Underground show at SXSW, there will also be a panel discussion at 2pm. Guests will be Dorian Roldan, Eric Van Wagenen, Rey Mysterio and Cristina Patwa of Factorymade, with Brandon Stroud from With Spandex moderating. Rey being involved confirms everything is now copacetic between him and Lucha Underground. Not sure if audio of this will turn up, but it should be interesting.

Justin LaBar writes about the experience of going to a Lucha Underground show.

There’s an charity auction for a VIP 4 ticket package for a Lucha Underground Season 3 taping. Current bid is $400.

The AAA headlined show in Arena Jose Suliaiman on Sunday didn’t seem to draw as well as the ELITE show across town. La Parka beat Texano & Wagner in the main event, and there’s video of Traumas versus Silver Star & Memo Valles. AAA announced a return date of 03/06 with Chessman & Averno defending the tag titles against Electroshock & La Parka, and also a TV taping to take place in Monterrey in the month of May.

SegundaCaida watches Black Terry vs Rey Hechicero from last November in Metepec.

A Roshfrans commercial with Fenix & Electroshock (and Arena San Juan.)

DoradaFan has a quick video of Angelikal

Super Crazy is headed back to Chile on 03/06.

Pentagon is listed working a 04/30 show near San Diego. It’s a little surprising he’d be working in the US on Mexico’s Kid’s Day.

Lineups

CMLL (TUE) 03/01/2016 Arena México
1) Acero & Fantasy vs Mercurio & Pequeño Universo 2000
2) Magnus, Robin, Star Jr. vs Canelo Casas, Hijo del Signo, Metálico
3) Oro Jr., Pegasso, Stigma vs Disturbio, Puma, Tiger
4) Delta vs Sagrado [lightning]
5) Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr., Rey Cometa vs Boby Z, Rey Bucanero, Vangellys
6) Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto © vs Blue Panther, Blue Panther Jr., The Panther [MEX TRIOS]
Hijos del Infierno 3rd defense

No one listens to Mephisto, how sad. This might be one of the better Tuesday shows in a while, with more matches with hope than usual.

CMLL (TUE) 03/01/2016 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Divino & Magnum vs Maléfico & Thunder Boy
2) Bengala, Flyer, Leono vs Artillero, Espíritu Negro, Inquisidor
3) Ángel de Oro, Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja
4) Máscara Dorada © vs Negro Casas [CMLL WELTER]
Dorada 2nd defense
5) La Máscara, Mistico, Súper Porky vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión

Dorada & Casas should be great and should be the main event. Rey Escorpion said he’d be back in March, but March 1st is awfully literal.
