AAA ZZINC (FRI) 11/27/2015 Coliseo Yucatan, Mérida, Yucatán [SuperLuchas]
1) Goya Kong & Pimpinela Escarlata b Mamba & Taya
No Bestia & Rey Horuz, as with all these shows.
2) Angélico & Jack Evans b Averno & Hijo del Fantasma
Averno & Hijo del Fantasma replaced Brian Cage, Chavo Guerrero, MVP and Prince Puma.
3) Bengala, Drago, Speedball b Magnus (UK), Psicosis I, Willie Mack
Bengala replaced Hijo de Dos Caras.
4) Daga, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Steve Pain b Garza Jr., Mr. 450, Sanada
Moved to the semifinal oddly but everyone in who’s supposed to be in it.
5) Blue Demon Jr., Dr. Wagner Jr., Rey Mysterio Jr., Ricochet b Brian Cage, Brodus, Low-Ki, MVP
Brian Cage and Ricochet were added to the this match. MVP replaced Johnny Mundo.

Merida looks like it had the best turnout of any of these shows. I have no idea why it worked when the other shows didn’t. No results from the Cancun show on Saturday, but it looks like a decent attendance.

Ricochet was not Prince Puma, as he said. He did wrestle as Ricochet. The Lucha Underground characters cost more and need permission.

These are the last announced Que Viva el Rey shows. I’d be surprised if ZZInc promoted more shows.

CMLL (SAT) 11/28/2015 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Último Dragoncito b Pequeño Universo 2000
2) Leono DQ Camorra
Camorra fouled Leono
3) Metálico b Oro Jr.
4) Tiffany b Lluvia
5) Puma b Esfinge
6) Super Porky & Titán b Hechicero & Vangellys
7) Euforia, Shocker, Último Guerrero b Dragon Lee, La Máscara, Mistico
Mascara didn’t get along with his partners on this show.

Bello Greco was honored with a moment of applause on this show and on Sunday’s All Elite show.

Cara Lucha (SAT) 11/28/2015 Arena San Juan Pantitlan, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México
1) ? ?? ??
2) Chik Tormenta & Dalys b Keira & Lady Maravilla
Good match.
3) Rayo Star & Sky Man b Kevin & Tony
Money thrown in. Crowd chanted DTU and asked for the Nerds to return.
4) Centvrión, Fly Warrior, Látigo b Metaleón, Mr. Leo, Wasson
Very good match. Centvrion challenged Mr. Leo to a singles match, and Mr. Leo said he’d be back with a third Lion Brother.
5) Boby Z b Danger, Imposible
Imposible was the mystery wrestler. Boby Z got the win.
6) Cibernético b Heavy Metal and Mr. Niebla
Cibernetico won with a foul on Heavy Metal.

Cibernetico didn’t seem to help attendance much; it was the same or even down a bit. He seemed like a weird feet. Mala Hiebra versus Lion Brothers & Wasson sounds like the best match.

CMLL ELITE (SUN) 11/29/2015 Arena México [+LuchaTV, CMLL, Kronosport]
1) Marcela & Muñeca De Plata b Amapola & Dallys la Caribeña
Billed as the start of Muneca de Plata’s career. It’s her first Arena Mexico match, but Porky’s other daughter has been training and working indy shows for years. Tecnicas took 1/3.
2) Cancerbero, Heddi Karaoui, Raziel b Dinamic Black, Metaleón, Principe Diamante
Rudos took 2/3.
3) Rey Cometa DCOR Golden Magic
Very good match. Golden Magic took fall 1, Rey Cometa took fall 2, and both battled outside for a draw countout. Cometa asked for a shot at the IWRG Juniors title, and Golden Magic said OK.
4) Cavernario, Kamaitachi, Okumura b Dragon Lee, Emperador Azteca, Zumbi
Rudos took 1/3. Kamaitachi beat Dragon Lee with a Canadian Destroyer. Kamaitachi said that would happen again on Friday. Dragon Lee was stretchered out.
5) Damián 666 & Halloween DQ Valiente & Volador Jr.
Damian & Halloween used a kendo stick in the first fall and were DQed quickly. Tecnicos took the second, but Volador later got the kendo stick, used it, and got called for a DQ. Volador again challenged FdT for a hair match, they again said no.
6) Atlantis & Carístico DQ Black Warrior & Cibernético
Tecnicos took 2/3. Rudos DQed for throwing Caristico over the top rope. Challenges followed, including Cibernetico challenging for the Mexican tag titles (?!?) and Atlantis and Cibernetico talking about a singles match.

Even before this show, there were interviews teasing a Cibernetico/Atlantis match. It might draw. It definitely sounds like a terrible match. They’ve moved on from Cibernetico/Caristico quick.

Attendance was way down for the show this week; one guess was 1,500. The people are showing up for the promises of debuts, but aren’t that interested in staying.

Rey Cometa challenging for an IWRG title when CMLL luchadors can’t seem to go to IWRG would be odd, but it also may not be happening.

This weekend’s AAA show didn’t mention Guerra de Titanes at all. They did mention the Arena Neza taping on 12/05 and called it the final (TV) show of the year. That means Guerra de Titanes is happening in January, or not at all. What a strange year.

El Dandy & Black Terry versus Los Traumas has been added to the 12/25 Lucha Memes show.

Aeroboy and Juventued Guerrera will have a match in Chicago on January 16. It’s very cold in Chicago in January, Aeroboy!

RobViper has highlights of 06/01/15 AAA.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Another week of guessing at who’s going to be in the main event. Averno is still being listed as working in Queretaro two days later, and plenty of people (myself included) were guessing he would be out of AAA after Guerra de Titanes when it was on 12/04. Averno’s listed on the 12/05 Neza show, but he’s also listed as working in New York the same day. Who knows.

Tabú has barely appeared the last few years. I have 4 matches for him this year (one of which may be someone else using a similar name), 5 the year before that, and 2 back in 2013. He hasn’t appeared on anyone’s TV since 2012, and he hasn’t been on AAA’s since 2011. He was a Bizarro back then, part of Cibernetico’s group, which might explain the connection which got him on this card. He’s also La Parka (AAA)’s younger brother, and Parka and Cibernetico are close.

La Parka is like Cibernetico in being a big star in the AAA middle period, 1997-2005. He continued on for a few years after too, but he (like Cibernetico) have mostly been kept out of the big programs. They both have won some tournaments and titles, but don’t quite fit what AAA has become/is becoming. The difference is Cibernetico owned his name and his identity, and Parka definitely doesn’t. He may not even own the Karis la Momia identity he did before, since Bello Greco used it first in AAA, but that’s probably irrelevant – like LA Park, this La Parka could come up with a knockoff identity if required and let the courts solve it for years. Tabu being on this show might just being a friend doing a favor for another friend, but if Elite is making offers to all sorts of people, I’m sure they’ve made one to Parka too.
