1) Centella Atómica & Psicópata b ?? & ???
2) Keira DRAW Marcela
Marcela & Keira pinned each other for the draw.
3) Astral & Stukita b Rayo Star & Sky Man
Both teams complimented each other after the match.
4) Kilvan, Wasson, Yoruba DQ Espanto Jr., Jocker (Guadalajara), Súper Halcón Jr.
Super Halcon Jr. was the surprise CMLL wrestler. Jocker fouled Wasson for the DQ>
5) Hechicero (CMLL) b Trauma I
Hechicero won a very good one fall match.
6) Felino & Mr. Niebla b Black Terry & Trauma I

Hechicero/Trauma I sounds like the best match on the show. Sky Stars versus the CMLL minis and Marcela/Keira sound like they went well.

CMLL’s recap is very positive on Terrible/Maximo. There’s no card for next week, because that’s the previously announced All Elite show.

The Wrestling Observer reported on Friday Argos and Argenis talked to AAA office and asked to stay. Argos worked the AAA show in Torreon that night, and was back to posting happy pro-AAA messages on Twitter today. Argenis will still be working Lucha Underground.

Big Ryck may not be working Lucha Underground. He told the wXw promoters that his match there was his last wrestling match ever, though he didn’t that in front of the crowd.

Ricochet announced he was no longer wrestling on an 11/21 OMEGA show due to other commitments, and hinted those commitments. That’d be a second weekend of tapings, following 11/14.

Averno says Myzteziz got scared of him and fled (again).

Miedo Extremo won DTU’s Torneo Ultraviolento on Saturday. He defeated Ovett, Violento Jack and usual ally Ciclope in the eight man tournament and his matches were said to be good.

Demus blames his loss on celebrating too much after he hit the move, but doesn’t want to call it a defeat because people threw money in. Shockercito says he’s willing to beat Demus for his hair a third time.

Atlantis says he didn’t get any help to win the Universal title. He may want to rewatch that finish. Atlantis said he was planning on celebrating his victory by taking a vacation back to Atlantis to see his countrymen: sharks, anaconda snakes and whales. (He was joking.)

Mr. 450 had a busy weekend. In addition to his AAA TV work, he kept the WWC Unviersal Heavyweight championship over Zoom Driver on Friday. The title wasn’t originally supposed to be on the line. As best I can tell, that would be the first time that title was defended in Mexico (and maybe anywhere outside of Puerto Rico.)

The Mexico State Box Y Lucha commission held a press conference to talk about upcoming events. There will be a licensing exam on November 24th. Only people recommended by one of ten accredited trainers will be allowed try out. Skayde, Falcon, Shu el Guerrero, Rocky Santana, Bombero Infernal, Negro Navarro and Black Terry are the ones listed (which is four short.) All current Estado de Mexico championships will be declared vacant starting in 2016, and the FILL shows will host tournaments to determine new challenges and champions.

These titles have been regulated in the past by the Mexico City commission (who doesn’t seem to do much with monitoring these things), so doing a reset makes some sense. Adding more random and possibly useless titles to lucha libre isn’t my favorite idea in general though. Taking away the old titles does mess with some people: Psycko Kid was the welterweight champion, with the title passing thru ChilangaMask shows a few times. IWRG uses the trios titles fairly often (and they’re most recently held by Black Terry, Dr. Cerebro and Dr. Cerebro), but most be okay with this plan since they hosted the press conference. Smaller indy promotions have announced light heavyweight and tag team titles matches in the last year. There’s been lightweight, middleweight, women’s, minis (Flamita!) and even Extremo championships in the past. I don’t think the last one is coming back, but most of them have been useless for years. They seem to have a plan on how to use them, but maybe do that plan with one title to see if it works instead of six at once.

Justiciero took Jeque’s hair on Coliseo Coacalco’s anniversary show.

The Pro Wrestling Revolution show in Napa drew nearly 800 with Rey Bucanero, Pirata Morgan, Atlantis and Octagon.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

RobViper has highlights of CMLL 04/28/15.

Smash Wresetling announced they’ll have Pentagon Jr. versus Drago on 11/07. That’s in addition to the show they’re working the night after with Lucha TO. Canadian promotions bringing in luchadors to face each other would’ve been unthinkable 12 months ago.

A story on luchadors in Ciudad Victoria says there are only 25-30 active there right now. That seems low.

Lucha Libre in Japan

Nosawa announced Mil Mascaras will return to Japan again on the 12/01 Tokyo Gurentai show.
