1) Epidemia & Heavy Boy b Cat Man & Mr. Libra
straight falls
2) Macho I, Macho II, Macho III b Gato Felix, Gato Reyes, Roy Reyes
3) Bracito De Plata, Bracito de Platino, Piratita Morgan bFelinito, Pequeno Espantapajaros, Pinochito
bonus minis match.
4) Cirujano, Judas el Traidor, Zonik 2000 b Avisman, Bestia Rubia, Comando Negro
Comando Negro replaced Star Boy. Good match. Zonik snuck in a foul on Avisman. Comando Negro challenged Judas to an apuesta match, but Judas had no interest.
5) Bombero Infernal, Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro b Orito, Pantera I, Panterita
The luchadors came to the ring to honor El Grillo. Lots of money thrown in for him, and he appeared to be in rough shape. Orito (Suicida) bled and was beat by Dr. Cerbero, and they made hair match challeneged.
6) Mega, Omega, Star Boy, Supermega, Ultraman DRAW Comando Delta, Comando Gama, Comando Mega, Comando Stone, Rayan
Another good match. Star Boy and Rayan were added to this match to make it a 10 man. Members of both teams unmasked early on pointing out Comando Mega was Oficial 911, Ultra Mega was Oficial Fierro and previously unknown Comando Stone was Oficial AK47. Comando Mega & Ultra Mega still feuded, and ended up in a double pin for a draw. There was talk about coming back for a cage/mask match.

This sounded like a fun show live. Hope it makes TV.

Psycho Circus beat the odd trio of Cibernetico, Machine Rocker and Mr. Maldito Friday night at the The Crash show in Guayamas, Sonora. Post match set up a Mr. Maldito versus Psycho Clown match, which sounds plausible. On the undercard, Bestia 666 kept his Revolution (?) championship over Bestia 666, and Tony Cassanova & Zarco won the The Crash tag team titles from Rey Horus & Black Boy.

CMLL drew 1,200 for it’s first iPPV according to the WON. Meltzer saw it as a low number, but it was more than I was expecting; I don’t believe a single one of their free YouTube show has reached that many people, and most are about half that size. On the other side, that’s only 1-2% of the people who were watching the show by the end of the mask match.

The WON says top wrestlers did not know who was going to lose their mask. In my experience, word was definitely out about the outcome prior to the show. Our group did not know, but only because were actively asking people who might (and did) know not to tell us. Who knew when is not really important, the key is Sombra losing wans’t a last minute decision or a tighly held secret and CMLL should already have a plan for Sombra going forward.

The Observer also says Dr. Wagner quit CMLL as part of his friendship with LA Park, but neither man expected CMLL to veto them completely and aren’t very happy about it. There’s not a lot they can do.

Dark Angel will have farewell appearances in Japan’s Stardom on 10/04 and 10/11 before heading to her next job.

Silueta is headed back to Japan for REINA. Not sure how long, but she’s got a singles match on Sunday. This is her eight trip already. That leaves the current CMLL women’s division as Marcela, Zeuxis, Dallys la Caribeña, Amapola, Princesa Sugheit, Estrellita, La Vaquerita, La Comandante, La Seductora, Lluvia, Tiffany, Reyna Isis, and Skadi (in order of my ability to survive their matches.) They desperately need a someone new and good. Multiple people wouldn’t hurt.

Star Fire believes she suffered knee ligament damage. They’re still doing more exams today.

Drago says he’s not afraid of Brian Cage.

ESTO interviews Angel de Oro.

Cadaver I is having medical issues.
