2) Brandon XXX, Epitafio, Leviatham, Pierko b ?, Halcón 2000, Kid Jaguar, Shadow

3) Chico Che, Freelance, Pantera I, Suicida b Ancla, Belial, Impulso, Tornado
4) Carta Brava Jr. I & Cerebro Negro b Ángel o Demonio & Ovett and Aeroboy & Violento Jack and Loco Max & Ninja de Fuego
Cerebro beat Loco Max.
5) Trauma I & Trauma II b Metaleón & Pesadilla and Emperador Azteca & Golden Magic
6) Hijo de LA Park, LA Park, Nicho el Millionario b Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, Silver King Jr.
LA Park won by pulling Wagner’s mask (though it didn’t come off) and a small package.

An indy lucha show, not really on the level of the other shows we’ve seen.

Dr. Wagner told people he’s living in the present and doesn’t want to talk about the past. Wagner missed his calling as politician.

CHILANGA MASK (SUN) 09/20/2015 Coliseo Coacalco, Coacalco, Estado de México [Black Terry Jr. (Flickr), Estrellas del Ring, Mano a Mano, MedioTiempo, thecubsfan]
1) Aramis b Garrobo Punk
top rope Canadian Destroyer in a match with a ton of big moves
2) Dr. Cerebro b Sangre Azteca
Cerebro won in a mat battle
3) Último Guerrero b Caifan
Good match, took place early in the card so Ultimo Guerrero could get to Arena Mexico. Match included about a two minute hard chop fight on the outside. Ultimo won with Pulpo Guerrero (despite some unclear officiating.)
4) Hechicero (CMLL) b Ultimo Ninja
Hechicero won the battle of the Monterrey natives via Mad Scientist Bomb
5) Solar I b Fuego (CMLL)
Solar took most of the match and submitted Fuego
6) Rey Horus b Kamaitachi
superb match, big spots from both men in a competitive ~15 minute match.

Horus/Kamaitachi and Ultimo Guerrero/Caifan are worth going out of you way to see. Aramis & Garrobo Punk too, but it might not have been recorded. Garrobo looked a lot better here than the Nacualpan show.

IWRG (SUN) 09/20/2015 Arena Naucalpan [Black Terry Jr. (Flickr), The Gladiatores, thecubsfan]
1) Atomic Star & Ram El Carnero b Alfa & Muerte Infernal
Muerte Infernal & Alfa replaced Omega & Eternus and did not get along.
2) Leo, Mike, Rafy b Hip Hop Man, Imposible, Super Jack
Imposible was taken out before the match started by Leo and was never seen again. Straight falls for the Turtles.
3) Apolo Estrada Jr., El Golpeador, Rayan b Black Terry, Freelance, Suicida
Apolo and Terry feuded during the match, but it was Golpeador who defeated Terry clean with a powerbomb
4) Diva Salvaje, Golden Magic, Relámpago b Canis Lupus, Eterno, Shu el Guerrero
Golden Magic suffered a significant wound in the first fall and bled quite a lot. He rallied to get the win over Canis Lupus. They made mask match challenged after the match.
5) Danny Casas, Heddi Karaoui, Veneno b Negro Navarro, Trauma I, Trauma II
Heddi defeated Navarro by grabbing the corner ropes on a cradle in the third fall. Karaoui challenged Navarro and Casas & Veneno challenged the Traumas for the tag titles (? – they’re not tag champs here.)

A regular show. Should I get to record this, the fourth match is the only really noteworthy show, and it depends on how well the cameras catch the accidental drama.

CMLL (SAT) 09/19/2015 Arena Coliseo
1) Camorra b Bengala
2) Robin b Espanto Jr.
3) Metálico b Oro Jr.
4) Arkángel de la Muerte b Soberano Jr.
Same exact finish as previous match (Arkangel dropkicks Oro as he’s going for a flying move and adds a powerbomb for the win.)
5) Kamaitachi & Okumura b Blue Panther Jr. & The Panther
Kamaitachi defeated Panther with a German suplex
6) Ephesto, Felino, Mr. Niebla b Ángel de Oro, Blue Panther, Super Porky
Rudos took 2/3.
7) Dragón Rojo Jr. © b La Máscara [CMLL MIDDLE]
Dragon Rojo took falls 2/3 to retain. 12th defense. First title defense since February.

Improbably, Dragon Rojo is the current longest reigning champion champion and no one else is close. Satanico held this title for about four years and two months, and Dragon Rojo would reach that mark in January 2016. Satanico had 19 (known) defenses, so Rojo has a while to go to catch him there. Despite the impressive numbers, it’s a championship that hasn’t seemed to mean all that much (and the length may have been helped by Rojo missing large stretched of time due to injury without every giving up the title.)

CMLL (SUN) 09/20/2015 Arena México [CMLL]
1) Apocalipsis, Artillero, Súper Comando b Leono, Metatrón, Sensei
2) Puma, Tiger, Virus b Magnus, Star Jr., Stigma
Tiger beat Magnus with the Canadian Destroyer and was stretchered out after
3) Dragon Lee, Titán, Valiente b Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja, Vangellys
4) La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Rush DQ Mr. Niebla, Shocker, Último Guerrero
Niebla fouled Marco
5) Atlantis © b Mephisto [MEX LH]
first defense, rematch of title change. Prior to the match, many of the tecnicos (including the previously injured Magnus) came out to congratulate Atlantis on his mask win. Seconds were Valiente and Vangelis. Atlantis took 2/3 to keep the title.

Atlantis had a long tough singles match on Friday, and came back to have another singles match on Sunday.

Atlantis says he thought he was going to lose.

Sombra and Rush says they’ll be a wild and crazy team going forward. They really ought to finally beat Casas & Shocker for the tag titles.

XMW is running a show on October 3rd, but you can only find out where it’s taking place if you pay for a ticket via Facebook. That sounds like something you’d do if you were running a show in Mexico City and trying to evade the commission.

Jonathan Gresham defeated Kim Rey in Germany to win the DTU Alto Impacto title. Maybe this is one those things where he gets the title back quickly? DTU hasn’t mentioned this title much since Gresham won it, but presumably they’re getting it back at some point.
