CMLL (SAT) 08/22/2015 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]

2) Magnus DQ Súper Comando
Comando fouled Mangus
3) Soberano Jr. b Arkángel de la Muerte
4) Hechicero b Tritón
5) Pólvora & Rey Escorpión b Delta & Guerrero Maya Jr.
6) Mephisto b Rey Cometa
Mephisto took 1/3
7) Ángel de Oro, Rush, Stuka Jr. b Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja

Los Ingobernables defeated the odd team of Shocker, Brazo de Plata and Volador in the main event of the Tragedias show in Deportivo Pavon on Saturday night, with Mr. Niebla making a surprise appearance to attack Rush, Mascara & Sombra post match.  Semimain was supposed to be a trios, ended up a weird ten man with Mistico, Valiente, Draogn Lee, Soberano Jr., Principe Diamante defeating Terrible, Mephisto, Rey Escorpion, Vangellys and rudo for a night Magnus. Might have been to stretch out the show to allow Rush to make both; Angel de Oro & Stuka got replaced in the undercard because they were in the main event here.

CMLL (SUN) 08/23/2015 Arena México [CMLL]
1) Astral & Eléctrico b Pequeño Olímpico & Pierrothito
2) Oro Jr., Soberano Jr., Starman b Akuma, Hijo del Signo, Nitro
Tecnicos took 2/3.
3) The Panther DQ Sangre Azteca [lightning]
Sangre fouled Panther for the DQ.
4) Lluvia, Marcela, Princesa Sugehit b La Comandante, La Seductora, Zeuxis
5) Kamaitachi, Rey Bucanero, Ripper b Blue Panther, Dragon Lee, Stuka Jr.
Kamaitachi beat Dragon Lee and asked for another shot at the ligthweight title. Dragon Lee said OK.
6) Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. © b Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja [CMLL TRIOS]
Sky Team took 1/3 to retain, despite Mistico apparently hurting his shoulder again while applying la Mistica in the first fall. Sky Team 3rd defense.

Mistico’s injury doesn’t come across as severe in the pictures, but he’s had this one so many times that he might have gotten used to working with it. It’s hard to believe it’ll get better without surgery, but I’m not a doctor. Sky Team keeping their titles means Atlantis has to beat Mephisto to get to the 16 champion number needed for the Universal tournament.  (Or they can just change the rules, as they’ve done before.)

CuadrilateroTV mentions Mistico walked to the back during the match and looked less than interested when he was there on Thursday’s Arena Aficion show. That could just be the same shoulder injury, but the Facebook post is implying something else.

Full IWRG results tomorrow, but it sounds like they set up a Golden Magic versus Super Nova mask match for next week, which would be a pretty big deal in the world of IWRG if it actually happens.

As promised, +LuchaTV put the ChilangaMask show from last week complete up on YouTube with commentary. You should probably check out the entire show, but since I was getting timestamps for the db anyway (including the prematch videos)
0:00:12 Psycko Kid, Astro Rey Jr., Fulgor I y Fulgor II vs Rey Apocalipsis, Tony Cisneros, Extreme Fly y Luz Clarita
0:24:52 Dr. Cerebro vs Virus
0:44:20 Keira vs Zeuxis
1:01:08 Aero Boy, Súper Mega y Magnífico vs Iron Kid, Alas de Acero y Aramis vs Impulso, Belial y Arez vs Disturbio, Garrobo Punk y Ciber Punk
1:26:17 Trauma II vs Blue Panther
1:46:08 Guerrero Maya vs Guerrero Maya Jr.
2:13:13 Caifán y Avisman vs Último Guerrero y Hechicero
2:45:16 Pagano vs Trauma I

They also put this week’s Leyendas Inmortales show, which looks a lot better on their channel than mine.

AAA announced they’ll have a new website and new people on social media sometime soon. I’d guess that means they’ve signed a deal with a new internet company, which is at least two weeks overdue. That they didn’t have some ready to take over when the previous person left and that it’s taken two weeks to find someone new suggests a significant level of disorganization. Even now, you’ll find nothing about AAA’s taping this upcoming week in Tehuacan on AAA’s website or social media account.

ChilangaMask announced Arez, Belial, Impulso vs Aramis, Alas de Acero and Iron Kid vs the Fulgors & Inmortal for their 09/06 show.

RobViper has a music video of 04/07/15 CMLL.

I’m on the latest Winter Palace podcast. Marco Corleone is the first, and probably much better, part of the show.

Skandalo, who’s been out with injury issues for large portions of the last two years, is listed on a show on October 3. It’d be about a year since his last match.

Douki & Low Rider are headed to Japan on 10/10 to work for the Tokyo Gurentai promotion

Nino Hamburguesa promotes the AAA Cara Lucha show.

Lineups

CMLL (SUN) 08/30/2015 Arena México
1) Leono & Sensei vs Camorra & Cholo
2) La Vaquerita, Lluvia, Skadi vs Amapola, Dalys, La Seductora
3) Fuego, The Panther, Tritón vs Puma, Sangre Azteca, Tiger
4) Ángel de Oro, Rey Cometa, Titán vs Morphosis, Olímpico, Ripper
5) Dragon Lee © vs Kamaitachi [CMLL SL]
Dragon Lee’s third defense, all against Kamaitachi.
6) Mr. Niebla, Shocker, Vangellys vs La Sombra, Super Porky, Valiente

Mr. Niebla’s first Arena Mexico booking in a month, though he’s booked every place else this week leading up to this match.

I’m generally okay with losing live Sundays for live Mondays – and we get the same Dragon Lee/Kamaitachi match either way! Kamaitachi is 2-6 in singles matches against his rival, 0-4 in three fall matches.
