Triton’s bad day begins
  1. técnicos
    • Triton guillotine legdrop Luciferno (4:07)
    • Stuka Ephesto roll block Ephesto (4:13)
  2. tecnicos
    • DQ Mephisto (foul on Angel de Oro) (4:52)

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:12
Notes: Mephisto fouls Angel de Oro for no real reason, and takes his mask as well.

He has figured out a way to get hang time on this

Review: [below average] do not watch! There are far more boring matches for sure, but the only thing accomplished here is taking a few months off Triton’s life. Triton begins his match with a botch, ends his match with a failed ramp dive headscissors. (Only Alexis notices Triton is hurt after the second one; he has to wave the doctor in.) There’s not a lot good in between, and the actual finish is a pointless foul/mask pull to get it down in straight falls. You are a super genius if you can figure out how any of this leads to Stuka versus Mephisto in a title match.

he was stretchered out

Match 2: Máximo vs Vangellys in a lightning match

Winner: Vangelis (ref stop, injury)
Match Time: 5:00
Notes: Máximo is injured about 4 and half minutes in when Vangelis falls on Maximo’s right foot on a dropkick. Maximo’s feared to have a broken ankle, but returns to the ring two days later.

Maximo tope goes well

Review: [not rated] Two matches in and I don’t know why any of these matches are airing. They’re bad, things go horribly wrong, it doesn’t seem to add to the value of the show to see the stars screw up things. This one ends when Vangelis full weight lands on Maximo’s foot on a seated dropkick. Match has gotten going by that point, but it feels only about half done. It’s really all the way done, with Máximo calling for help right away and obviously in immense pain. It’s no surprise every one thought it was a severe injury from the way he reacted.

Vangellys picks a poor place to land.

Match 3: Diamante Azul, Mistico, Volador Jr. vs Kráneo, Olímpico, Ripper

99% sure this was the first time Volador realized Olimpico had a dancing gimmick.
  1. Invasors
    • Mije splash Místico (4:20)
  2. técnicos
    • Volador huracanrana Kraneo (2:53)
    • Diamante Azul press slam Olímpico (2:59)
  3. Invasors
    • La Mistica Ripper (2:43)

Winner: Invasors (2-1)
Match Time: 10:02

not the most necessary dropkick

Review: [ok] regular semimain match which at least entertained the crowd. Volador’s disbelief at Olimpico’s dance moves was five stars. Diamante Azul’s big kicks don’t seem to come close to anyone’s head, which is probably for the best. Mije cleanly defeated Místico in the first and generously let Olímpico have the pin.

Notes: Shocker & Casas retain the championships

Casas (and Naito) got all of that

Review: [good] A little disappointing, because they never got going as much as some of the other Ingobernable matches (and the fans didn’t care about this one as much as they did those other ones, for whatever reason.) The first two falls are pretty disposable, and it’s really only the last minute where it feels like either team had a legitimate chance of winning the match. Plenty of submission holds put on where the other partner can waltz in and break it up instead, if you prefer that. What it did have was a pretty good Naito performance, who’s worked hard during his stint here and Sombra selling big for the veterans. Casas was good, though this isn’t going to rate highly among his best matches this year. Shocker was OK, but also the slowest man in the bunch. It feels like they’ve gotten all they can out of this title run, at least without someone very different opponents.

great dive by Naito, good catch by Naito, and also Shocker was there
Naito determined to break Casas’ back
