Fuego en el Ring has clips of the title match, and promos from Maximo and Ultimo Guerrero. They mentioned the interference on CMLL Informa.

Isamel Ramirez, who wrestled as Charles Bronson Mexicano Charles Bronson Mexicano’s wife, passed away according to Hijo del Santo.

Record discovered there’s wrestling matches which allow light tubes and ladders. I know I’m shocked. They visited the Salon Citali show in XMW (where the promoter didn’t want to give his full name, always a good sign) and were concerned fans might be hurt. That building is tiny; there’s barely enough room for the ring and the wrestlers and putting in barriers would take out a big percentage of seats.  El Fantasma is quoted as saying that style of wrestling is banned in Mexico City; Salon Citali is just over the border.

The Flamita vs Dragon Lee match is canceled.  The show was already rescheduled once.

Arena Queretaro will host a Dance Boy versus Ursus mask match on 08/07. Logically, they’ll be having a fight on an MMA show six days prior in the same building.

ESTO interviews Marco Corleone and edecan Miroslava about their relationship (it all happened because her nephew wanted an autograph) and Marco’s career.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

SuperLuchas looks back to shows (and deaths) from past July 15s.

Voices of Wrestling has a Lucha of the Hidden Temple of the last 3 episodes.

Lineups

IWRG (SUN) 07/19/2015 Arena Naucalpan
1) Dragón Celestial & Mr. Leo vs Araña de Plata & Imposible
2) Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Emperador Azteca vs Apolo Estrada Jr., Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo
3) Coloso Chris & Príncipe Orión vs Eterno & Hip Hop Man and Hijo del Pantera & Pantera and Golden Magic & Súper Nova and Canis Lupus &Negro Navarro and Danny Casas & Veneno and Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 & Universo 2000 Jr. and Oficial 911 & Oficial AK47 [IWRG IC TAG]

Chicano & Danny Casas were tag team champs; every Chicano stint in IWRG seems to end with him just vanishing and it must’ve happened again. The Crazy Americans winning all the time makes more sense now; they’re either winning this tournament or someone (most likely Casas & Veneno) are finally beating them in the final.

CARA Lucha (SAT) 07/25/2015 Arena San Juan Pantitlan, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México
1) Magnetico & Puma Galactico vs Heredero Maya & Lasser
2) Hahastary vs Keira, Lady Maravilla, Ludark Shaitan
3) Pegazuz, Rayo Star, Sky Man vs Magnifico I, Magnifico II, Templario
4) Hombre Bala Jr. vs Leo
5) Bárbaro Cavernario & Herodes Jr. vs Fly Star & Toxin Boy
6) Blue Panther vs Satánico

Kind of a mixed card. Expectations should be low for Satanico after his last appearance in ChilangaMask, and it’s strange Cavernario & Herodes are teaming after feuding last time we saw them in this same promotion. On the other hand, Hombre Bala Jr. getting a good match is cool and it’s nice to see the Magnificos get on more of these kind of hsows.

  1. At least escorpion losing a title match this close to sin salida makes a little more sense if Guerrero was involved!
Does Guadalajara have a tv show now?

  2. Guadalajara does have TV now – they air their show on two local Televisa affiliates. I don’t currently have a way to record it (but welcome any ideas.)
