Continuing a run of lackluster show.

UG doesn’t realize Thunder is not jumping
  1. Revolucionarios
    • Rey Escorpion & Pólvora corner dropkick Ultimo Guerrero (3:14)
  2. Revolucionarios
    • Rey Escorpion pin Thunder (3:03)

Winner: Revolucionarios (2-0)
Match Time: 6:17
Notes: The two teams start brawling on the rampway. UG and Thunder argue, with Thunder shoulderblocking UG instead of doing the flying sit. Thunder first walks out on his partners, then returns to help turn the tide in the second fall. Thunder ended up giving UG a shoulder powerslam to set up Escorpion’s win.

Ultimo Guerrero jumps himself

Review: [ok] More an angle than a match, with Ultimo Guerrero getting angry at Thunder unsupported by anything that happens in the match, and Thunder picking that moment to finally turn on Guerrero. It really made no sense for Thunder to come back and help the Guerreros (especially when the idea is he’s working with the Revolucionarios the whole time) except they can’t break free of their strictness of their match structure. It was spectacular and illogical, like Thunder’s moonsault

Thunder’s first springboard moonsault is almost his last

Match 2: Dark Angel ©, Goya Kong, Princesa Sugehit vs Amapola ©, Dalys, Tiffany

Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 7:31
Notes: Tiffany and Dalys are wearing matching gear in the style of the Blanca/Sujei team , as they’ve done a lot lately. No idea if they’re meant to be a team.

finger guns are dangerous

Review: [ok] Fine women’s match that did well with this crowd. There wasn’t a lot to it and it was typically short for an Azteca middle match, but the crowd enjoyed it and they had better action than most CMLL women’s matches. Amapola and Dark Angel were very good against each other at points, and struggled against each other at other points but seemed to cover as well. Goya bringing out new comedy bits is good news.

friendly neighborhood Dragon man
  1. TGR
    • three man powebromb on Volador (3:58)
  2. técnicos
    • Volador backcracker Shocker (1:22)
  3. TGR
    • three man superbomb Dragon Lee (4:14)
    • Shocker crossface Valiente (4:31)

Winner: TGR
Match Time: 9:51

Review: [ok] I had tech issues which caused it to take about a half a week to get this match onto my TV. It was not worth the effort. It was fine, but TGR (new green gear and all) are still a very recycled trio who don’t match up well with this técnico unit’s skill set. Doing the same Terrible & Rey were using back when they were still teaming with Texano really added to the feeling of having seen all this before. The opening of the match was super awkward, with the rudos starting an attack, bailing, then changing their mind again and doing it anyway 30 seconds later. It never really totally picked up.
