Americans beat Dos Caras, Keira defeats Marcela

IWRG (SUN) 06/28/2015 Arena Naucalpan [The Gladiatores]
1) Blue Monsther & Hijo del Alebrije b Enigma & Picudo Jr.
Blue Monsther’s first main show IWRG match after five years of trainee shows. He won!
2) Dragón Celestial, Mr. Leo, Vortize b Aramis, Atomic Star, Super Jack
Mr. Leo replaced Skayde (moved up a match)
3) Apolo Estrada Jr., Oficial 911, Oficial AK47 b Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Skayde
Skyade replaced Golden Magic (double booked with All Elite). Oficials and Cerebros challenged each other after the match.
4) Eterno, Negro Navarro, Universo 2000 Jr. b Danny Casas, Solar I, Súper Nova
Rudos took 2/3.
5) Canis Lupus, Coloso Chris, Príncipe Orión b Hijo De Dos Caras, Pantera, Veneno
Coloso Chris is likely Calfironian Chris from the XMW; he and Orion and the Crazy Americans. He beat the usually unbeatable Dos Caras clean.

The Americans winning in the first match makes sense if they’re being built up for a loss later on, but no outsider seems to stay around here that long.

In a ten woman CMLL versus indie women match in Salon Citali, Keira defeated Marcela. That sets up a rematch on their next show.

Today’s Arena Puebla show has Gran Guerrero versus Sombra for the NWA Middlweight championship. It’d be shocking if Sombra lost.

Naito’s returned to NJPW, but he’s continued on with his character change from Mexico – he’s still an Ingobernable member, he’s not getting along with faces like Tanahashi and talking about how much he liked Mexico and teaming with those guys (Sombra’s mentioned specifically.) The next tour is the G1, so teaming with people won’t be much of an issue, but perhaps Sombra will be heading over after that.

Silueta is heading back to Mexico. Reina Isia, La Gitana and La Comandante are still in REINA; Comandante is challenging for a title on their next show.

Segunda Caida reviews Atlantis, Black Warrior, Felino, and Mr. Niebla vs Damain 666, Halloween, Psicosis and Satanico.

  1. Coloso Chris is actually Chris Bryant from the EWF in California. He was trained by Jesse Hernandez at the School of Hard Knocks in San Bernardino.
