Dragon Rojo escapes certain doom, Sombra out does all

Notes: Dragon Rojo & Rey Escorpion attack the Guerreros before the start of the match. Thunder protects UG at times, but then usually just wanders away. UG finally attacks Thunder, and that ends that. Guerreros comeback is just edited out.

Review: [ok] edited down match with just a little bit of three matchups and nothing super notable. Sombra and Thunder did okay together, but Thunder is still Thunder. Cameras did a weak job of showing Rey Escorpion and Ultimo Guerrero exchange chops. Dragon Rojo looked like he nearly broke himself on his ramp dive again. Sombra’s mask looks really good in HD.

revenge dropkick

Sileutasault

Review: [ok] slightly exceeded my expectations while still being nothing I’d ever go out of the way to watch again. Rudas worked out better than usual. Narumiya looked lost during the beatdown, with Tiffany and Dalys kind of cutting her out of the action (or Narumiya getting involved way too soon.) Silueta’s moonsault went OK. If you’re watching this on my videos, I put the third fall in the next video because I wasn’t paying enough attention, but no one’s brought this up to me so I’m guessing you’re not watching it. That’s OK.

Mephisto batted around

  1. Sky Team

  2. Sky Team

Match Time: 5:33
Rating: ok
Notes: Sky Team wear the trios titles out to the ring.

double tope!

Review: [ok] a lot of heavy build to a Sky Team/Hijos del Infierno match, one that hasn’t gone anywhere by the time I watched this. Maybe when this recap gets posted in October, it will have finally occurred? Sky Team looked like the much better trio here. It was nice to see the Hijos del Infierno bring back a couple old trio spots, but they need something new to add instead of just being a Averno tribute band.
