It’s the missing taping! Everything makes a little more sense now. It does confirm Verano is airing quickly after it takes place.
What’s not confirmed is half these matches. The semifinal is the easiest to decipher: AAA keeps listing luchador surprise in what should be Kronos’ spot. It’s hard to believe that’s an miscommunication if it’s happening for weeks. Maybe it’s just a name change (can they just use “Bane”?) but whatever is up should be clear by Verano de Escandalo.
The mystery spot in the opener is for a luchadora. The only two tecnica luchadoras who’ve been used this year are Keira. who’s seems unlikely to brought to Veracruz, and Faby Apache, who would be listed here if she was here. Expect something random, with the returns of Jennifer Blake or Ivelisse (if she’s healthy by this point) even possible.
The mystery spot in the main event is by far the most interesting. It’s a spot that requires a big name at a point in time that requires a big name. (Still no idea what the TripleMania match will be.) It’s someone to work across Mesias, since Myzteziz and Averno should be locked back up. I dunno.
The matches we do know look generally pretty good. Mini Psycho Clown and Dinastia have been really good in their lead up matches; if they get 8-10 minutes without a ton of interference, they’re going to have a great match. And the fourth match looks like it could be one of the best AAA trios matches of the year. This should be an interesting taping, both from matches and from storyline progression.
