Goya Kong, Princesa Sugehit, Silueta vs Dalys, Reyna Isis, Tiffany: [ok] This match started off with an empty screen, as whoever is in charge of checking to make sure the intro video ran prior to the match wasn’t quite paying attention. The match was slightly better than that, though mostly unnoteworthy and very long. Thankful for Tiffany’s second fall submission so there’s something for me to uses as a gif. Isis had no horrible mishap in her debut, which immediately slots her ahead of Skadi & Lady Afrodita. She mostly got squashed by Goya Kong, who was very over. Dalys may be a valkyrie now, not really sure. Sugehit using La Mistica remains weird.

Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero: [OK] a sped up and clipped down version of the same Guerreros/Sky Team matches in Arena México. They got to he big spots quick because they had no time for anything else. It was good while it lasted, and strange it got so less time than the woman’s match, but it didn’t last very long. Místico was limping noticable after his third fall dive, despite a very gentle landing. Same as it ever was. Gran Guerrero may be getting better or I’m just getting used to him. They still had Ultimo do all the big spots

Negro Casas & Shocker © vs Marco Corleone & Rush for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship: [good] another very solid Shocker/Casas title defense against the Ingobernables, with good action and dramatic near falls. The Guadalajara crowd just didn’t seem that into it, and it didn’t have the intensity of their México City matches (those two things may be related), but they got the most of this match up. Rush & Marco looked ridiculously dominant for the first half of the match, before their over confident came back to catch up to them. Shocker & Negro Casas work as a team with a lot of heart which won’t give up, though I suspect they were expected more of a reaction for Shocker valiantly defending his titles 1 vs 2. They all would benefit from moving on to something else, but this was a good variation on the usual match.
