Dragon Lee, living in an action movie

Delta, Dragon Lee, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Kamaitachi, Misterioso Jr., Sagrado: [good] speed run of a trios match, hitting what they needed to get done, or at least as far as they could after massive editing for tie. The full match was probably pretty good based on what was seen here, which is not bad. Dragon Lee & Kamaitachi only got a few spots in here – the bulk of the match was carried by the feuding tag teams – but they looked and impressive and got their style over in the tie they had. This got the tag title match we’re never seeing over too, to be truthful. Crowd was totally into it. It’s hard to recommend a match this short that’s divided into three falls, but this got the most of the time.

huge tope con giro
UG almost took this the worst way

La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Negro Casas, Thunder, Último Guerrero: [OK] As far as these never ending matches go, this was fine. Ingobernables had nice matching outfits. Thunder doesn’t see like he’s protecting his opponents much on his big moves, doesn’t sell well, and seemed to telegraph spots. The other people were fine. Ultimo Guerrero giving clotheslines to Sombra and Mascara back to back was a nice way to showcase how different those two guys are at selling.

Super Terrible Punch

Rey Bucanero & Volador Jr. vs Máximo & Terrible in a National Parejas Increible Tournament match: [OK] Just the pretense of a tournament final, but more a long angle to build to H2L. And kind of a flop of one, since the finish was looked horrible. Terrible pulled a muscle in his left leg and could barely walk for the last half of the second fall, and I’m not sure if that lone screwed up the timing or Rey Bucanero messed up as well. There were signs of a good match when they had a chance, but the abbreviated opener had a lot more to it than this.

double tope
Volador hates this finish
Bucnaero air punch for the win
