06/01 AAA TV Lineup (Nuevo Laredo)

AAA TV (MON) 06/01/2015 Polyforum La Fe, Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas
1) El Elegido, Faby Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Parka Negra, Taya Valkyrie
2) Angélico, Jack Evans, Laredo Kid vs Dark Cuervo, Dark Scoria, Mocho Cota Jr.
3) Monsther Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs El Mesías, Electroshock, Pentagón Jr.
4) Blue Demon Jr., La Parka, Myzteziz vs Averno, Chessman, Cibernético
5) El Patrón Alberto & Fénix vs Brian Cage & Texano Jr.

Air Date: 06/13.

Almost the exact same talent list as the show two days prior, with only locals Laredo Kid & Mocho Cota different. This card was posted by Cantu promotions, who uses those two regularly on their Nuevo Laredo AAA shows. This would be Laredo Kid’s first TV appearance since 2011; he’d been in AAA for about six years but was allegedly fired for working on a show across the border with CMLL wrestlers. This probably doesn’t tell us a lot about Laredo’s status with WWE, since AAA also have used Eita and Flamita when they were imminently headed to other places.

Mocho Cota Jr. is believed to be ex-Tigre Cota (it’s his picture they’re using on local posters, neither he or Laredo is on this one) and was last in AAA as part of the Milicia in 2012, disappearing when they dropped that group. Like Laredo, his inclusion here is probably a deal thru the local promoters.

Alberto/Cage didn’t happen in Reynosa, did happen here. Hellbrothers were split among two matches on last week’s show, are together here. Opener is exactly the same people, and the segunda is only changed by those locals being included. Both shows appear to be one week tapings, and maybe they’ll try to mix it up a bit by choosing a unaired match for each show.

The current schedule would mean Verano de Escandalo would air within five days of taking place, which is quicker than usual for a major show of late. Maybe something with the World Cup bumps everything back a little bit, maybe a unlisted dark match ends up on TV to stretch one of these shows a second week

Next taping is unofficially 06/15 in Monterrey, if Copetes can be trusted.

  1. Yeah Mocho Cota Jr. is the ex Tigre Cota. He’s been appearing as that name for Arena Coliseo Papamilo.

  2. So the wrestling media is wrong yet again about somebody heading to WWE. Man, they are getting to be really bad when it comes to reporting about wrestlers heading to WWE.

You got them claiming Samoa Joe is WWE bound, yet he continues to take bookings deeper and deeper into the future.

They were claiming The Briscoes were heading to WWE this summer even though they had already renewed with ROH.

They made it seem like Adam Cole would be going there in the near future, but then it turns out he has a long term deal with ROH.

They make it seem like ACH will go there , but wait he’s been booked for some big matches upcoming with ROH.

Now the latest is Laredo Kid, who was supposedly reporting there in June, yet he is making a return to AAA after a long absense during that month.

I don’t know what it is and why they keep reporting this nonsense. They need to get their stories right. They are looking less and less credible by the day.

  3. What’s happening with Jennifer Blake? I know she’s been in Canada for awhile but is she still in AAA and just on an extended vacation or what?

  4. The story they’re going with is there’s just a passport issue getting her back into Mexico. I’d enjoy seeing her back, but I wouldn’t count on it happening.

  5. Your main issue seems to be less about Laredo Kid and more about these “wrestling media” people? Who are you even refering to & why does it bother you so much?

Right or wrong, at the very least whoever you are refering to have the guts to attach names to their stories so they can be criticized. Unlike certain gutless people who post as Anonymous.

  6. Just about everybody with the exception of pwinsider keeps doing this. It’s bad for both fans who want to see and don’t want to see these people in WWE. It gets fans worked up over nothing. It may also be bad for the wrestlers in question to have people spreading around gossip that is jumping the gun or falsse from the get go. Stuff like this should be making people question what is going on aitht their reporting.

  7. Well, the new Observer comes out today so I can assume you’ll be here* tomorrow to tell us everything in there that’s correct.

    * -> Of all places you did pick a strange place to air your concerns about the “wrestling media”. This is pretty off the grid.
