this was probably not the plan, but the plan was still crazy

Super Fly’s quest for the biggest fall out of the ring continues

Argenis & Australian Suicide vs Daga & Súper Fly: [good] Very good AAA Velocity match, with the four guys meshing well and the rudos looking sneaky good. Daga is trying to be more overtly rudo this time around, but he can also still go when it comes to big spots. Super Fly looks very comfortable in his new role; it’s almost like he should’ve been a rudo the whole time, but he’d liable to have destroy himself given all the crazy bumps he takes now. Argenis is very much a CMLL opening match técnico but Suicide looks spectacular as usual. Good opener.

hard schoolboy trip

Super Fly superbomb
uhhh

Drago & Súper Nova vs Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Joe Lider: [ok] this one felt like more a misshapen jumble than the previous match, but that may have just been me being disinterested in the stapler wars. They had some good ideas and moment, the match just didn’t hang together for me. Lider is the dumbest wrestler for using the thumbtacks when it always backfires with him, and that cradle really looked no fun on the tacks.

Nova springboard headscissors
double cradle powerbomb
Averno back alignment

Angélico, Jack Evans, La Parka vs Averno, Chessman, Cibernético: [ok] nice job of the Hell Brothers to mix it up by destroying Parka’s leg instead of his shoulder. (Sarcasm.) That’s about all I can see interesting about the first six minutes of this match. They beat up the técnicos for a long time, Jack and Angelico led the comeback, and the girls screamed a lot. This one was definitely more interesting in the building than I was watching. I don’t what is about this feud that’s convinced Cibernético to take one mildly dangerous bump per match, but it’s happening. Jack & Angelico really only got about a minute and half run in this entire match.
