4) Titán b Pólvora [lightning]
Titan won with a moonsault.
5) La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Máximo b Rey Escorpión, Thunder, Último Guerrero
straight falls. Escorpion and UG had problems.
6) Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. b Bárbaro Cavernario, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
Sky Team took 2/3. Mistico had a couple of small problems.

So much for Sky Team title match. I’d really expected more of those by now.

Escorpion’s teamed up with Ultimo Guerrero a couple times with no obvious problems since his return, including last week. Feels like some plans are changing and they needed an insta-feud.

Silueta was wearing her REINA International Junior championship, which hasn’t been seen here in a while. Narumiya has the other REINA title. Maybe they’ll be just one title soon.

There’s a game of indy lucha libre TV musical chairs going on

  • FULL is scheduled to start their TV show tomorrow at noon on Mexiquense, but also announced they’d also be airing on Ultra Television at 8pm.
  • AULL announced last night that their Zona de Combate show would return, starting next Sunday on Efekto TV, also at noon on Sundays.
  • That time slot used to be the Leyendas Inmortales spot, which may explain why they were suddenly back on Teleformula, and why +LuchaTV was suddenly not anywhere.

SuperLuchas notes a recent radio appearance with Faby Apache, who says she founded a group to get better pay for luchadoras, and feels she’s been punished with a lesser role in AAA as a result. AAA’s definitely downplayed the role of women in their promotion this year, though that’s something there had always been rumors of them wanting to do.

SuperLuchas also mentions the Wrestling Observer Newsletter story about AAA contacting TNA and GFW about sending teams for their international trios tournament. AAA appears to be contacting everyone at this point. And since there are a lot of unofficial stories about AAA contacting groups and no official word from AAA about anyone who’s actually participating outside of their own guys, it appears like AAA (& Victoria, and maybe mostly Victoria) announced an international tournament before they had actually gotten international people onboard. Way to go for high level of difficulty.

Octagon told +LuchaTV that the worst mistake he ever made was leaving CMLL to go to AAA. Octagon would be foolish if he actually believed this – he would’ve been kicked out CMLL (and ended up in AAA and then in the indies) far earlier if he had stayed – but he’s trying to find a way into CMLL and so that’s his line. Octagon claimed that CMLL is concerned about trademark problems if they used Octagon, but he’s got paperwork that’ll show he owns the name and it’ll all be fine once he shows it to Paco Alonso.

Perros del Mal and the Crash will be holding another mass for Perro Aguayo Jr., this time in Tjuana, on 04/21.

DTU & Lucha Boom have a show tonight in Arena Lopez Mateos.

An article on the cultural trip to Arena Mexico being promoted for next Sunday. This was announced months ago, but totally slipped my mind until it was brought up by Cadena3 this past week. People on the tour will get to go behind the scenes before the show, and then they’ll be giving headsets during the show to hear the call of the action live.

LuchaWorld had KrisZ’s new update.

Black Terry Jr. has highlights of the Dragon Celestial, Emeprador Azteca, Yakuza vs Imposible, Dowki and Electro Boy from Wednesday’s IWRG show. He also has photos from last night’s Leyendas Inmortales at Arena Neza show, which reads like a normal LI show (semimain with maestros who wrestle elsewhere was good, main event with guys who mostly wrestle for LI was not.)

+LuchaTV also has Avisman vs Virus highlights, which is said to be great, Negro Navarro vs Dragon Lee and Aero Boy vs Soberano Jr. vs Alas de Acero. Also, plus post match interviews with VirusAvisman, Dragon Lee, Negro Navarro, Aero Boy, Alas de Acero and Soberano Jr.

Cara Lucha announced Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero vs Hechicero & Fuerza Guerrera for their 05/02 show.

Chilanga Mask announced Keira versus Silueta for their 05/17 Coliseo Coacalco show. Keira, a few days ago, said she wouldn’t be able to face CMLL luchadoras after debuting in AAA on 05/02, but they announced this match after that so maybe something’s changed..

SuperLuchas looks back at a mask tournament from 1977

Arez believes this is the best ever moment for indy lucha libre.

El Pancracio believes the only way lucha libre oversight will be fixed is if the people in charge were suddenly a lot loss corrupt.

Lineups

CMLL (FRI) 04/24/2015 Arena México
1) Bengala & Robin vs Artillero & Súper Comando
2) Astral, Eléctrico, Stukita vs Demus 3:16, Pequeño Olímpico, Pierrothito
3) La Vaquerita, Marcela, Silueta vs Dalys, Narumiya, Tiffany

5) La Sombra, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Thunder [Relevos Increíbles]
6) Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto

I guess you don’t need Sky Team title matches to just put them on top every week.

Dragon Rojo returns – maybe. Will they remember Dragon Rojo doesn’t like any of these people? I dunno.

Vaquerita actually makes the show, and does the video prview.
