CMLL (FRI) 03/13/2015 Arena México [CMLL, Yahoo! Deportes]
1) Canelo Casas & Metálico b Esfinge & Starman
2) Amapola, Dalys, Tiffany b Goya Kong, Marcela, Princesa Sugehit
3) Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto b Guerrero Maya Jr., Stuka Jr., Valiente
Hijos del Infierno win their debut match as a new trio (a rarity in CMLL)
4) Dragon Lee DQ Kamaitachi [lightning]
Kamaitachi DQed for excessive violence.
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush DQ Euforia, Thunder, Último Guerrero
Rush fouled Thunder when he had a hold of La Mascara
6) Rey Bucanero, Shocker, Terrible b Atlantis, Máximo, Volador Jr.
Shocker snuck in a foul on Atlantis.

Shocker & Atlantis determining the main event finish is odd.

Rush sort of feuding with Thunder is interesting. Rush does keep talking about how he wants to win a mask. Those matches probably wouldn’t be any good at all but could still be entertaining.

The Vamper Revolution show is tonight Juan de la Barrera. That’s the show with the Fuerza Guerrera vs Negro Casas. Fuerza continues to insist it’ll be a different match (and a different outcome) away from Arena Mexico. The actual main event is Canek & LA Park vs Dr. Wagner Jr. & Rayo de Jalisco. (Canek feels confident, as always.)

Tinieblas’ FULL promotion has a show tonight in Toluca with indy luchadors and a few from CMLL. (Casas is supposed to be in the semimain here too.) Main event is Atlantis, Tinieblas vs Solitario & Mr. Niebla. Some of the undercard matches look interesting. The show is being taped for small public TV network TV Mexiquense; Tinieblas seems to believe it’ll actually be airing live tonight. The channel’s listing doesn’t mention it (which may or may not be accurate), but I’ll record it and check later.

AAA has Rey de Reyes on Sunday. I have a preview going up on Voices of Wrestling later today. I’ll be doing live coverage on Twitter and a write up here later Sunday night. I’m actually working on watching the show in 3D, just to see what it looks like. The short version of the preview is it’s a really strong looking show. If Alberto was/(is?) healthy, every match would have a reasonable chance to be at least Good. The only real problem is AAA’s less than stellar iPPV track record, but hopefully all goes well here and then it’s not as much an issue when they try it again for TripleMania.

DTU has a show tomorrow in Arena Neza. Main event is Histeria/Psicosis (Invasors) vs Aero Boy & Violento Jack vs Crazy Boy & Pesadilla in a TLC match. The normal DTU wrestlers are the favorites here, but future DTU shows seem to be setting up the Invasors challenging for the DTU NEXO tag team titles; perhaps they’ll win here to start that movement. +LuchaTV has a promo from Jonathan Gresham for his title shot against Drastick Boy for the Alto Impacto championship. The show also has a Nerds vs Indistrongibles trios match.

IWRG’s Sunday show is their annual Guerra de Golfo show, where the losers of two cage matches have a third cage match where the losers face off in a third cage match. There’s a whole host of IWRG regulars who are capable of losing such things (and IWRG makes it easier to figure out the losers than the winners.)

Monterrey has another Wagners/Ninjas tag match, this time for new tag team titles. The last match between the two sides did surprisingly well and they’ll try to do it again on Sunday.

CMLL’s Sabado Retros show has Mistico, Dragon Rojo Jr., Stuka Jr. vs Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja and Ultimo Guerrero in the main event, as Mistico faces the Guerreros in every CMLL building. Sunday’s main event is Mascara, Mistico and Volador Jr. vs Barbaro Cavernario, Negro Casas, and Shocker, which probably means Mascara and Volador betray each other again.

Fuego en el Ring talks to a confident Terrible & Rey Bucanero about next week’s hair match and looks back at Villano IV vs Tigre Canadiense.

The IWRG Tortugas will face DTU’s Nerds on 03/21.

RobViper has a music video of 11/18/14 CMLL.

SuperLuchas looks back at a Mexican Heavyweight Championship change on a past March 13th.

Pictures of last weekend’s Expo Mascaras, which honored Hombre Bala/The Monsther.

Pagano still wants a hair match with Nicho.

Segunda Caida reviews Bestia 666 vs Rey Horuz
